Used for home office...much faster than S1500...my S1500 was a work horse which lasted 12 years...iX1300 very easy to install and came on line immediately...highly recommend, especially the U-feed which stands scanned documents upright vs horizontal.
Love my scanner!

I used to work in a law firm that had ScanSnap scanners, so when I wanted one for home use, I turned to ScanSnap. This one does everything I need it to do, whether scanning receipts, business cards, photos or two-sided documents. Naming and saving documents is easy. I am able to keep all of my documents on my computer, which is backed up to the cloud, and therefore they are all accessible from anywhere. I am very pleased with this scanner.

Sometimes the top auto feed grabs more than one page at a time when I feed around 10 pages. This is even after I fan the pages. Sometime the autofeed doesn't grab the paper straight and I need to refeed as the auto skew can't fix it. Software seems to work fine. I like it's simple one button design and wifi send to laptop vs the older model Fujitsu which was USB connected.

Thirteen years ago I decided I had to scan everything for my income tax submission. I had a scanner. This year it failed. I found it: ScanSnap. Out of the box, set up wi-fi... a little trouble for Windows 11 to do it but it did, and now I'm on. I scanned and titled documents from 10 months in about 4 hours. Done. I am thrilled to have it and find its success.
Plain n simple—it works!!!

When I installed product, everything looked great--UNTIL I went away and computer shut down. The next time I tried to scan, the scanner was disconnected. I unplugged and replugged the USB cable, it worked fine till I shut down. Next day--and all days to follow, same thing. I tried all relevant fixes suggested by your support people: No help. I then installed a work-around: A USB switch so I can disonnect and reconnect without stressing the connector socket. I also would prefer a scanner using conventional driver and seperate scanning software--I could probably fix this problem if this was available. I am happy now but will no longer recommend Unified Products by your firm. (Fuji scanners with conventional software work great, my Fi-5110c need replacement only because it had issues with WIN 11, as migh be expected--but at home I don't this heavy-duty and heavy$$$ device).

I had a ScanSnap for several years, but it was so old, Fujitsu no longer supported it. I tried another brand and returned it. I went back to ScnSnap, and got the iX1300, and love it.

I use the scanner for work receipts, daily work sheets, equipment use etc... I scan several times a day. i have a hard time loading from the top, probably user error..lol.. The bottom scanner wrinkles the paper from time to time. I do love the ease of saving it to folders. very user friendly. I would buy the product again because i think that my problems with the scanner are my inability to do it correctly.

Home office. After 12 years with previous ScanSnap scanner (no problems) this one proved to be a huge disappointment. Far too complicated to set up (interactions with online aspects) Spent about 8 hours over two days trying.

This is a very good scanner for home use. Easy to use, versatile, fast. This one replaces my previous ScanSnap S1500 scanner, which after 20- years of use, finally had a problem. So, I expect this scanner to also be troubler free for many years. I use the scanner mainly for digitizing paper records, making photocopies, and creating .pdf documents so I can pull text from them.

Not as good as older snap scans model. More moving parts so small black spring came out and I'm not sure from where. Front feeder is good. Auto feeder sometimes grabbed multiple pages on statements or fed skewed pages that was beyond what auto skewed could fix. This scanner broke within 2 years. Like the size but wished it lasted longer. Though of going with larger ix1400 but in the end order a Brother's scanner.

It scans amazingly fast. Reasonable price. Slightly difficult to initiate a scan. Small size ideal for home office. Overall, it is not better than the discontinued 1500 model

The scanner will jam periodically when the feed system grabs more than one paper at a time. Also, after scanning a two-sided document, the scanner will flip the writing on the back page so that it is now upside down. According to the description, the scanner can scan 20 sheets of paper at a time. I have found that to be impossible without causing a paper jam. The final reason not to buy this item is that the scanner will stop working if you don't update the software. So much frustration for such a small device.

I am returning it due to the software for the scanner will not work with 3rd party software. I am a medical assistant and was needing it to work with Eclinicalworks and it sadly does not.

The ScnSnap iX1300 is a great portable desktop scanner that scans multiple double-sided color/BW pages directly to my desktop or Dropbox. It was super easy to install on my MacBook Pro and MacBook Air. The image quality is superb, and it fits in my handbag or laptop bag when I need it at conferences and/or meetings. I highly recommend the ScanSnap iX1300 for its ease of use, convenience, portability, and compatibility with iOS.
