I wanted to sleep on this for a few nights before reviewing it. I think it’s great for the price point. I have a pretty basic memory foam mattress that is about 5 years old. I added this for a little more softness and so far so good. It’s not a deep pillow top that you’ll sink into. So if that’s what you want, go for something else. It basically makes my plain mattress into a pillow top without sinking deep when you lay on it. I have noticed less tossing and turning in the night since I’ve had this on my bed.

Our mattress is only a few years old, but we decided to purchase this anyways. It is pretty pleasant to sleep on. I will say it does add height onto your mattress, and with a down duvet on top of it, it made my bed a little harder to get into!

My boyfriend has found my Tuft & Needle mattress too firm, so I bought this in the hopes that he might find my bed more comfortable. Don't let its apparent thinness fool you—my bed is so, so much softer and my boyfriend falls asleep without issue. 100% would recommend. One thing to note: I do think the material is makes me feel warmer than my mattress did, but I would still buy this again knowing that.
