A: Hi Chanlee, Our Straight and Wavy Hair shampoo and conditioner contain a silicone called Propoxytetramethyl piperidinyl dimethicone (we know, it's a mouthful!) - we use it because it's an excellent conditioning and protecting agent that protects hair from thermal damage, adds shine, and helps give a soft, silky texture. Our Curly and Coily Hair shampoos, conditioners, and treatments are silicone-free, since many with Type 3 and Type 4 hair follow the Curly Girl Method(TM) and prefer to avoid silicones. Our #hairgoal booster shots; except for thermal control, are all silicone-free. Our products do contain alcohols, the majority of which are fatty alcohols that are not drying on the hair. I love that Function of Beauty's shampoo and conditioner can be customized to fit your hair needs with these booster shots. It gives a really unique experience and they're easy to use. Just pop them open and pour straight into the bottle. No mess at all. I've been suffering from dry and brittle hair these past few months and after using the shampoo and conditioner with the strengthening booster, I can definitely notice a difference! These shots were super easy to use you pop off the top and pour into the shampoo or conditioner and it’s done I feel like they added some shine to my hair.

I was sent these hair care strengthen drops complimentary from function of beauty. These are really awesome, I see there is also curl definition drops. The product is sealed in a small aluminum flat that you pour directly into any function of beauty base products like their shampoo or conditioner for example. These strengthen drops help future breakage! Perfect for growing out hair

Hey babes, so to start my review I must say I value myself on being open and honest so when Function of beauty gifted me this product, I was super nervous to try it. Being as my hair falls out drastically due to health problems, so trying anything that typically is supposed to help strengthen hair is so scary to me. To my surprise when using my shampoo and conditioner with this mixed in, I had little to no fall out. I was honestly shocked and had to keep trying it due to the fact that this is not normal for me. Not only does my hair seem so much stronger but it is incredibly soft. Really can not say enough good things about this product. Function of beauty hit it out of the park with this one.

I received this product for free. I love how the booster shot customizes the whole hair product routine! it’s cool how I can add it to my shampoo/conditioner it really elevates the whole experience. By adding it I could see the difference in my curls! Which is so exciting to see, it’s also such a good price for the benefit you receive. The only negative I have on the product is that it rated 49/100 on yuka, but it’s also good to note that it’s sulfate and silicone free :)

This product should be taken off the shelves! Within a week my scalp was so so so sensitive, it was so painful to brush my hair out, I could barely put it in a low lose ponytail without being in pain. I threw away my shampoo & container when I realize what it was causing. Had to do 2 rounds of clarification shampoo for my scalp to feel better
