The bases were formulated to be hard working all on their own, they address the needs for each specific hair type, so you can use them on their own or you can add 1, 2, or 3 #hairgoal booster shots depending on how many hair goals you may have. We have A LOT of hair goals, so that's why we recommend 3, but you do you :)

I have coarse, half wavy half straight hair and I have a lot of hair. this leave in treatment smells really good and works well on both damp and dry hair. I do wish it was slightly thicker/more nourishing because it doesn't do as much as I'd want it to on the more damaged parts of my hair. otherwise, it's great for adding smoothness and softness to the hair.

I was beyond excited to try their shampoo and conditioner… a couple of days in from trying it I realized my hair was becoming more greasy and a week after using the products I had immense dandruff… I thought maybe I didn’t properly wash my hair.. but nope as weeks went by the dandruff got worse. I purchased an old shampoo brand I used to use and the dandruff went away. Big disappointment:/

I have 2B/2C thick, wavy hair with some coarseness to it. I tried the CGM for almost a year and it did absolutely nothing for me - I felt like nothing was going to bring my curls to life the way I wanted it to. Saw this product at Target and thought I'd get it a whirl - voila! This stuff is magic. My waves/curls have never dried better. I use this along with jojoba oil and some sea salt spray to achieve the best natural curls I have ever had. So happy with this purchase!

At first I liked this, it made my hair less frizzy. It didnt do a ton to increase my waves/curls, slightly more definition due to less frizz. But then over a couple months it seemed to make my hair fall out/shed more. So I stopped using it.

I’ve been using this daily for a few weeks now & can definitely tell the difference in my hair. My waves look great & much more tamed. I use this with Function of Beauty Wavy Hair Shampoo and Conditioner. It definitely helps control frizz and leaves my hair softer. The floral fragrance matches the shampoo and conditioner. The fragrance is really strong and sometimes a bit annoying. I don’t personally care for the fragrance but I’m sure many will enjoy it.

This product absolutely shocked me ! I couldn’t smell it at the store and I couldn’t tell if it was going to be good quality but when I finally tried it I could not believe how amazing it smells ! When I applied it to my hair (damp hair with prayer hands) and then scrunched, I couldn’t believe the results ! I felt like a fresh wavy haired babe ! Thermal protection for hair is great! I use it before I dry my hair. I apply it to damp hair and let it work for a few minutes. Then I use my hair dryer and curling iron. I like that the product makes the hair soft and protects it from high temperatures.

I have very thin, fine hair and I found this DOESNT weigh it down or make it crunchy feeling like most wavy hair products! If you have natural waves this gives the waves subtle definition, not overpowering but enough to keep your waves for the day without going flat, no hairspray needed (at least for me)! I really love the smell too.

This was my first time using leave in conditioner and genuinely this has been so helpful for my hair. To be fair, this change wasn’t made in isolation (using clarifying shampoo every 2wks, shampooing twice in the shower with regular shampoo, and using a soft t shirt to dry my hair) but I know it’s a big player in my new line up. Frizz has been greatly reduced. I use 4 pumps total split between each half of my hair when I tilt from side to side. I have medium-long hair with a lot of volume and wave. The waves in my hair hold well and don’t require any heat to look nice and relaxed. I’m definitely buying this product when I run out. I use it after every shower (every 2-3 days). I still get some frizz in my hair depending on the day, but still looks significantly better.

My daughter and I have mostly straight hair but with a little wave to it. I’m trying to bring out more of the curl and this product is a great value for the price and smells nice! Doesn’t weigh down the hair at all and adds some bounce.

This is a great find for wavy hair! A little goes a long way and it really adds manageability and shine to my hair without weighing it down. A little does go a long way. I love to use this when I air dry but also when I heat style!
