i kinda got this on impulse because it’s pink & i needed a new curl cream/leave-in. it smells good, but it’s not very effective. after one day, my hair was really frizzy!! for reference, i have thick, high-porosity, 3a-3b curly hair. i returned this one and won’t be repurchasing it.

Favorite curl cream for fine hair
I have fine 3a curls and this my favorite curl cream. I probably would not recommend for people with thicker hair as it is pretty lightweight. I normally use it along either a gel or mousse. Really great to refresh 2nd day curls too, doesn’t weigh curls down.

I’ve used this product a few times now and I absolutely love it. I wash my hair at night and put in my It’s A 10 leave in treatment and then scrunch this product throughout my hair before putting it up into a very loose pony for a little bit before I get into bed. When I wake up, I put a little bit of the John Freida’s Frizz Ease styling cream and a few pumps of hair spray and I’m ready to go- that’s it! I really love this product, I can get 2-3 days of waves out of my hair without it weighing down my hair or making it feel super greasy. Will definitely be buying this one again and the smell is great!

I wish this product was around a lot sooner!
I have multiracial curly hair and have spent hundreds of hundreds of dollars on hair products ranging from drug store brands to high end premium name brands over the years and have never found exactly what it was that I was looking for. On a whim I decided to buy this curl cream along with the moisture, anti-frizz, and curl enhancer boosters. THIS product was exactly what I've been searching for all these years! My hair is finally tamed (it's a miracle!), moisturized, my curls are happy and defined but not hard and crunchy, they are soft and shiny. My hair is less tangled than usual and my second day hair is still looking good! After I wash my hair (which is around x2or3/weekly) this is the only product I use, it works as a moisturizer and a styling cream that I can air dry and wear my hair natural with. It also has a very delightful scent. After having tried this, I plan on trying out the rest of the curly hair line. Be aware, this is for hair that is naturally curly, this will NOT make straight hair curly! I've seen other reviews saying it doesn't work but definitely does IF you have curly hair.

Loving it so far
I was gifted by function of beauty their super shape curl cream & allowed my mom to give it a try first on her color treated hair as well, and she loved how soft it made her hair feel as it was a bit dry before applying. She said it also made for a great foundational product before sleeking her hair down, so I’m so excited to try it out for myself really soon and give my opinion.

I was gifted by functionofbeauty & I love that this curl cream is not too dense for the days where I want my wash & go’s to dry quicker and with more volume rather than tight and super defined. It also smells lovely. I do recommend.

Save yourself the trouble.
I bought this on a whim while in store because I saw the star rating. Had I had more time I would’ve noticed that the 5 star reviews are from people who were gifted the product. This left my hair looking DRY (I do not have dry hair) flat, frizzy and no definition. Had I had the time I would have rewashed immediately.
