Gaiam Studio Select Studio Flow Yoga Mat - (6mm)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a gorgeous yoga mat! I love the purple color, the pattern and the length of the mat. It was rolled up so tightly that the end will not flatten completely but I expect that will go away after awhile. It does roll up very compact for easy storage and transport. This mat is thinner than others that I’ve used but it still has a good amount of cushion and will be great for exercises that require being on your knees.

It’s really beautiful. This mat offers nice grip and traction necessary for more challenging poses. But it’s also durable enough for my kids to use it when we do family yoga at home. The 6mm provides is comfortable even on my achy knees. While I used to prefer a wider mat, this one is a classic and a family favorite. And I really feel like I need to mention how pretty it is again!

It’s a very nice thickness and cushioning, comfortable, but firm enough to not hinder your workout. It has a nice amount of grip to it. It seems to be really well made, I expect it will last me a very long time. it shipped very quickly and was well packaged.

The thickness of this mat feels luxurious beneath you, while still being a sturdy, flat surface to flow on. This mat is really good for those positions that can cause some discomfort of the spine because of how great the pad is. I also like the textured grip on the darker side.

The design is super cute but subtle and the ridges on the other side makes the mat stay in place on hardwood floors and does not slide around. It is also the thinnest mat that I have ever had which is nice because it does not hurt my knees like other lower quality yoga mats that I have bought previously. I love this yoga mat!

I also like that it rolls up pretty compact. The mat is thinner than my last one, but still very padded and comfortable. I was way over due to upgrade my yoga mat and this one is so stylish and makes me excited to practice yoga in the morning. It has a factory smell but I’m sure that will air out.

The 6 mm cushioning provides the right amount of thickness. I am able to comfortably do yoga as well as core exercises on the mat, on our wood floor as well as our concrete garage floor. The material rolls up easily for storage or taking on the go. I am 5’7 and it is plenty long for me. I would definitely recommend.
