It is still very soft firm at the same time perfect for a different yoga poses or even push-ups and situps. I really like the bright purple color and the length of the mat is very nice as well much longer than 6 feet. This is perfect for a home gym or even for a smaller space because it folds away so neatly.

Across the board everyone said 5mm, which this offers more stability and connection with the ground. I have found this mat grips the floor no matter what the surface is, and gives me the confidence to go from laying down, to sitting and then standing without the worry of slipping. I am confident in this yoga mat that I feel comfortable doing this without assistance. The dry-grip technology that is used in this mat is also great for hot yoga. It’s a full 24” wide by 68” long. It’s definitely supportive of my aging joints and body. This yoga mat should be your next choice. It’s definitely a high quality mat for any yoga practice that you may be doing. It’s also a good length - it’s 68 inches long. I’m only 4’11’’ so this quite perfect for me. I can lay on this mat and still have so much extra space. The prints are super cute, I chose the purple snake print. There is also a good amount of grip with this mat, so when you’re on it and stretching, you definitely won’t be slipping and sliding all over the place.

I used it during a circuit training session as well as yoga/stretching. The thickness of the mat is what makes it more premium and better than my standard yoga mat. It is perfect for those that require a more cushioned option especially for side-lying exercises, etc. I wish there were more options for design as purple is not my favorite and I’m not a snakeskin girl, but the mat quality is excellent.

Doing hot yoga means you want a thicker mat that is non slip and of good quality. This mat is the perfect addition to my workout equipment. It is beautiful, thick and non stick. You do need to wipe it down before each use. It has a bit of a chemical smell when first rolled out but it goes away quickly. It is the perfect thickness, I really noticed a huge difference as I compared to my old mat. I highly recommend this mat.
