Q: Are these certified GMO free? If not, they would be riddled with gmo's from the cornstarch, canola oil, and sugar.

A: I’m asking the same thing. These are awful now and I’ve been eating them for many years. The blues berries are crunchy like grapes would be and muffin is so dry. Yuck!

Taste bad after they change recipe
I don’t think I’ve ever written a bad review just only good ones but I’m so upset over their recipe change. I’ve been eating the zucchini muffins since they came out. I would have one for breakfast and one for after dinner dessert. I loved the taste and how moist they are but now they’re horrible! I guess I have to start making them myself which is hard because I’m disabled. Not happy!

This was my go-to breakfast for three years!! They recently changed the recipe using yellow squash and it tastes so different. The texture is dry and tastes artificial. Please bring back the original recipe!!!!!

New recipe is terrible! I have been eating these daily for breakfast for about two years now, and the new recipe is not palatable. I could not put my finger on what they tasted like, but like another customer mentioned, it is like a bad tasteless birthday cake. All good flavor is gone. Unless I see the old recipe is back, I don’t plan to buy these again. So disappointing.

It baffles me why companies try to fix something that isn’t broken. I ate one of these every morning and the last box I got via pickup showed “New Recipe” on the front, but I didn’t know until I got home. They are horrible. Instead of actually tasting like an oat muffin, they now have that cheap tasting “birthday cake” muffin consistency. Won’t purchase again.

The new recipe, made with squash instead of zucchini, is SO different (and absolutely unpalatable to me and my kids). I wrote to VGM quality assurance, and apparently they changed the recipe because they got a lot of emails complaining that the muffin had GREEN in it... Honestly...

Why oh why change the perfectly perfect recipe for these blueberry oat muffins. Now made with yellow squash not zucchini, add calories and take away fiber, now 10 calories more and 1 fiber less than the original and perfect muffin. Way too sweet and just not good. I will never buy these again unless the original recipe comes back.

Surprisingly Amazing
I just discovered these muffins existed today and bought some because they’re on sale. I can confidently say that these are life altering. They taste just like a normal muffin, and even have the texture of a fresh baked muffin. And costing at most a dollar per muffin, makes it more than worth it for me. These are less than half the calories of any other muffin I’ve found, and they don’t taste like crap! It’s near impossible finding something that’s both affordable and relatively healthy. So I will hold these muffins dearly for the rest of my days. LOL.
