No hoses, or external devices. This is an all inclusive device. And one with touch of a button, I can average three readings at one sitting!! A very smart tool!!
Quite accurate

Readings are quite accurate compared to other devices I have used in the past. Verified by calibrating with professional medical equipment. Random E3 error codes can be frustrating.

Accurate BP readings, which is the most important aspect of this product. However, the button functionality could be better. I expect superior quality from Garmin.

I already have two watches with chest heart strap and now following my BP with this product to aim a healthier lifestyle. I love how compact the device it is since the cuff doesn’t need a line to the gauge like the other BP machines in the market .

I've had this blood pressure monitor for a couple weeks now going from a traditional one with a pump tube. For the first entire week I was getting really inaccurate readings. The positioning on this one has to be absolutely perfect, and make sure you're making no movements whatsoever. After I finally got that figured out it went a lot smoother. The top number always seems at least 10 points higher than what it actually is. But I guess that's a worthy trade-off from not having to input my data every single time and having it easily read. I think the only thing I'm truly disappointed with is the amount of time it takes to take my blood pressure. It takes significantly longer than my traditional one. As well as deflating on its own. Am I happy I bought it? Yes, do I wish it was better? Also yes.
I liked the 3x measuring feature

Better than my Omron, but still not as accurate as the hospital quality monitors. I will take it with me to my next appointment to get it certified. They do 3 measurements back to back using the personal and the hospital device then give you an accuracy report. I will update my review accordingly.
Reliable, but sometimes you need two try’s.

I bought this because I’ve become fully obsessed with the Garmin ecosystem. The data transferring to the Garmin connect app is awesome and very reliable. I check my blood pressure every morning and I often have to check it two times in a row because the first read is high vs what my normal BP is. Not a problem in my opinion but if it’s not situated perfectly on your arm then you can get some weird readings. Overall it’s fantastic and I’m glad I purchased it.

We bought this unit as a back up! But after using it daily- and it is easy to use- this is our main unit now. We love the data being sent to Connect with our other data. Of course, with us old folks, there is always a question with technology and set up. As usual, Garmin support was awesome in helping us. As we learn from all our Garmin products- expect state of the art in their products.

Once you set the arm size just slip on and take your reading. Ease of use makes it more likely you will record when you need to. Plus the data sent to your phone is useful.

This is the simplest BP reader I have ever used. I use it daily and it works like a charm and links to Garmin Connect without a thought. Makes taking BP regularly easy and that is a good thing. Very pleased so far.
