    Slow to function

I had the watch for 2 months and already had to have it replaced for buttons failing to work. Watch is very slow to function and for the price not worth the money in my opinion.

    Great Watch!

This watch had everything I was looking for and more. The built in light was a surprise on how much I use it. GPS and compass and tracking work well. Also the apps you can add. I wish Applied Ballistics was not so expensive to add. Wears well. Only issue I had for the first few weeks was the band material seemed to irritate my wrist. Just red but it worked itself out and no issue now. But if it does to you there are aftermarket bands.

I did not expect how much I love this watch!

I normally run a Gshock rangeman and I love the simplicity. I did not want to go all the way to an Apple watch so the Garmins seem like the best of both. It lives up to it! Super tough and great features, really easy interface after learning it. Connects flawlessly and has all the features you need and non that you dont! The best feature I would have never expected I used so often is the flashlight. The only downside is I wish it was a red LED instead of green. Very lightweight and comfortable and can take other watch bands. I wish ExpertVoice carried the other watch straps. Overtime this band may break like my Gshocks but the material seems softer and less brittle. 10/10 watch highly recommend over the standard instinct 2. It has a larger battery and more surface area for solar. The standard 2 tactical for me is just too small. This fits perfectly!

    Great System!

I love this watch, my original one had battery issues. Garmin warrantied it for half price even after it was 2 years old. I will buy another one when this one gets long in the tooth. The watch is super useful for navigating and fitness. Its definitely saved me a few times!

    Rugged

I put this purchase off for way too long because of the price. But looking back, I could have spent three times as much on a watch and have features that I don’t really want. I love it! The battery lasts about 4 weeks even without sunlight. I downloaded the manual and put it in a binder for reference. Much to learn about, but intuitive. Just buy it!

    Light and size

The Light is awesome wouldn't have thought that I would use it as much as I do. Hope this is something that continues to come on future models. Also like the screen size 50mm has a great picture and I am able to have more things on the watch face at once. Have not yet used the tactical features but I'm sure they will work as they should

    Love it

I love this watch, it was confusing setting it up but after playing with it for a minute it became so much easier. One of the best features I didn’t release I’d use was the torch.

    All around excellent watch

Wanted to use it a little while before reviewing. This is a rugged watch with many useful features. There is a number of things I probably won’t ever use but good to have on it for people who do use them. The sleep report and my heart info is one valuable feature I use daily. I get up and get a cup of coffee and look at my morning report for my sleeping and heart. Check my body battery and weather for the day and I like the way I can customize the report and watch face to make it easy to read and informative.

    Absolute Unit of a Watch

I got one around a month ago to use both daily and for work and the features seem endless. The GPS capabilities and the integrated flashlight add so much utility and the health features such as heart rate and step count are amazing along with being able to track the time and distance of my runs accurately. With the solar feature I only had to plug this in to charge once in the month I’ve been using it every day. I’d recommend this any day of the week.

    Love this watch!

Exceeds all expectations! I watched some videos but this thing is loaded with features so I’m still learning and customizing. I recommend downloading the manual from Garmin (it’s huge). I used the help/ support chat for a question and it was easy to use and answered my question quickly.

    So far I’m pretty happy

Age 69, and sometimes watches with this many features can be a little intimidating. But for the most part I have been able to navigate through the features. Some are still a mystery but i usually go to Garmin site and am able to figure out. 4 star because I don’t see any value in the solar, it doesn’t charge my watch battery at all. If it shows I have 23 h left in power, it can be in direct sunlight for hours and battery life still decreases. I have to charge manually about every 3rd day. The accuracy of altitude is very good as is GPS, heartbeat, but temperature I am not sure if it’s reading my phone temp or outside temperature. I having tried a lot of the other features yet.
