Good
Great watch I’m sure there’s a ton of features I know nothing about. I only have one issue but the garmin team is on top of the issue. It’s the gesture feature it works when it wants to but other then that I love it.

You won’t be disappointed!
I replaced my Garmin instinct 2 solar tactical with this instinct 3 AMOLED, and couldn’t be more impressed. The display is so crisp, I use the torch every day, and the battery life is incredible. I charged to full on Nov 13th, and still have 8 days battery today, Dec 9th! I wear it 24-7 except for my shower at night. I used to rotate my Apple Watch Ultra and my Garmin. Now I’m thinking of selling or gifting my ultra because I don’t want to take this one off! My son loves it too, since he got my instinct 2!

Outstanding! Best Instinct Ever!
This is my third Instinct Smartwatch and it is the ultimate evolution of this product. The Instinct Solar 1 and Instinct Solar 2 that I had both had great functionality but were difficult to read - this watch solves both issues with a 50mm face and a very bright AMOLED display. The “rise to wake” function is great - gives you a bright, colored readout when you look at it, and shuts it off when you aren’t looking at it. Battery life is fantastic - if you charge it once every 2-3 weeks you will always have plenty of power. Highly recommend this excellent smartwatch.

Great Look and Function
I love this watch so far. I've had it for about a month. I've used it for Golf Yardages, tracking my dog out hunting in connection with my Garmin Alpha, sleep data, gym data and apps. The battery life and the flashlight are also big pluses. I've had it for a month and I think after 15-20 days I charged it when it got down to 20%. It only takes about 15 minutes to charge so not a big deal.

Love this watch
I was so tiered or the over tech apple watch and picked up a Garmin Instinct 3 and love it. Has just what I need, is simple but advanced and last for 3 weeks. I strongly recommend Garmin

Wanted to like this, but returned it
I liked the design of this watch - size, and the AMOLED screen. HOWEVER, I ordered the black version. In that color, the button names are unreadable - both due to the color and that the font size was so small, and impression so shallow that they were difficult to read even in the best of light. At the same time, while the time was in large enough letters with good contrast, the rest of the face was unreadable without my reading glasses, which are not feasible when outside in the bright sun and wearing sunglasses. I really wanted to like it, but after a few days it was just impossible. I sent it back and went with the Samsung Galaxy Classic 8 which was much better for my needs, offers all the same features, is already a much better choice. For me.

Upgrade from the Instinct 2X Solar
I am semi-happy with the Amoled version of this series. The face colors are brilliant, and somewhat customizable. I also enjoy the red light shift option. The glass is clear, showing no distortion and easy to maintain. The persistent problems of accurate sleep tracking are still present. I have to secure my watch SUPER tight (loosen for the day, cinch down at sleep.) to get it to track properly. It would be super helpful if there was a start/end sleep button on the watch/app. Another point of contention is the fact that you can receive a notification to answer a phone call, but without an internal speaker you cannot communicate until you grab your phone, so that function is worthless in functionality. I really like the appearance and style of this series, but I do not know if I would purchase this at it's price point with the two detractors that I mentioned above.

Fantastic watch
Have a Garmin vivosmart watch. This is a major upgrade, well worth the extra $$. More accurate in all features. Great battery life 14 days with no issues.

still figuring it out
At this point I've had this just over a month and I'm pretty happy with it. Upgraded from a fitbit and this is so much more powerful, too much so, in some respects. I'm still learning about all the metrics it provides and which ones are really relevant to me. It is aggravating that it won't connect with our current smart devices, such as blood pressure devices and weight scales; waste a lot of time entering results manually. I tried a prior Instinct E, but could not accept the monochrome screen. SO glad I got this one, in comparison - very much easier to use and see with the amoled screen.

Great Eatch
Bought this to dip my toe back in the Garmin world. Got tired of having to always charge my Apple Watch everyday and sometimes twice a day. Man I am so impressed with this watch that now I wish I had gone big and bought the Fénix 8. But I am really really happy with the Instinct 3 once I learned how all the features worked. I do miss being able to do things on the screen. But dang this thing gives me ALL my notifications. It works better with an iPhone than the Apple Watch ever did. Love, love, love my Garmin watch and happy I made the switch.

Great features and battery life
Bought this watch around a month ago. Waited to review it because I wanted to get to know it first. Love how I can create and send workouts to the watch, navigation is easy and user-friendly, the small LED light is mega handy and it doesn't feel heavy when hiking in long trips. No touchscreen is actually a benefit once you get used to navigating with the buttons.

Wow! What a watch!
I purchased the watch for the dog tracking capability with my Garmin Alpha series GPS dog collar. I also found out the watch had a waterski app. The waterski app helps me ski more efficiently. The watch is full of functions I’m still learning how to use!

One Tough Watch!
I bought this watch approximately six months ago, and it's been amazing! Best watch I've ever owned! Has all of the features I need for my very active lifestyle. It's also tough. On numerous occasions, I've scratched it against something, and there's no noticeable scratch damage to my watch!

Very Customizable
I am very impressed with the number of activities that can be tracked, and the details and data that can be captured. My intent was to only use this for one activity, but I can see that I'm going to be setting it up for other activities. The display is very clear, even in bright sunlight. Remembering how to find the different menus takes a little practice, but it didn't take long.
