Since this is a bi-phase formula, be sure to shake the bottle well before each use to be sure the 2 phases are combined. Because this oil free formula is made to remove waterproof makeup, it still needs to have a lot of “slip”, which may be what you feel after your makeup removal. Since it works so well on the more stubborn makeup, you can use this micellar water first and then go over the same area with one of our other Miceller Waters that leaves you with the fresh feeling you crave.

Not good for sensitive eczema prone skin.
I have sensitive skin - eczema prone. Unfortunately this caused an allergic reaction - swelling around my eyes and itchy face. My niece who also has eczema said she had the same reaction but she says the pink cap version not for waterproof doesn't cause this problem.

It takes forever to get waterproof mascara out. In the end i feel like it sands down my eyelids and i have to use a lot just to get the make up out. I used other make up removers that are not sold anymore, unfortunately, that were much for effective in removing waterproof make up. Definitely did not like this product and i am considering paying more for a better product and formula. A pity.

Not for all skin types
This product was used on my face prior to getting makeup done. I immediately felt a stinging and burning sensation. After I washed my face I began to feel burning on my forehead and chin, woke up the next morning and my entire face was broken out and eyes were swollen. This allergic reaction caused me a trip to the emergency room and with a prescription for medication. Ladies if you have super sensitive skin please be careful with this product.

They say not oil based, but it is very oily. I have shaken it a few times & oil has separated from water and just makes my face a greasy mess, I have only had this product for 1 month. I contacted them online & get only AI response. So not helpful.
