Installation was not difficult, like any other air conditioner, you will definitely need a pair of men's hands as it is quite heavy. It's been a few days since we installed it. I really like how it works, it cools quickly, it seems to me that it runs quieter than our previous one. It’s cool that there are many options, a remote control is included, and you can also control the operation from your phone via Wi-Fi, a 24-hour timer, an Energy efficient sleep mode and an eco mode... It can cool a large room quite quickly based on its power. I haven’t had time to try all the functions yet, but I already like everything.

It’s a bit awkward to put in but very easy to set up. The remote is basic and easy to use. It’s no louder than any other air conditioner I’ve used. I love that I can use my phone to operate it too. I can be outside and turn my ac on before I come in. Would definitely recommend.

Only reason i removed one star is the installation. I had to hire someone to install it. I am so ready for summer and come home to a nice cool home when it’s an inferno outside .

Too heavy for my window

It fit in the window width-wise, but it was so deep that I would have needed a shelf or other support for it on the otherwise and I was unable to build something to support it. So unfortunately, I can’t even comment on how it works. I’m quite disappointed, but this just wasn’t the right unit for me. It looks nice and I was excited about the smart features.

The installation process was fairly easy, however it is pretty heavy for one person though so thank goodness for hubbys manpower lol! He had it out the box and in the window in under 10 minutes. Noise level isn’t bad by any means, in a way it’s actually kinda soothing lol! 😂 I currently have it all the way up on cool/61* and it literally sounds like it’s on a low fan setting! The smart features are definitely a plus too! It connects to Wi-Fi and can be hooked up to your Alexa/Google devices for controlling, along with the remote it comes with! 100/10 recommend!! I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to claim and review this product all thanks to Influenster and TCL!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the TLC from Influenster for free, in exchange for my honest review. First off, this AC unit is MASSIVE, and very heavy. Assistance may be needed with installation, and transfer out of the box. It took a while for it to warm up enough in orders to really use it, but once I did, I was very happy. This machine blasts you with cold air, and cools down the room quickly. The different settings is nice, so you can adjust how cold you want to feel. The noise isn’t bad, and is about the same as most AC units. Personally, I love the sound, as it provides white noise when I’m sleeping. This is a powerful machine, and with proper care, should last for years to come. II am in my early 40s, and have been experiencing hot flashes lately, and this AC has been a lifesaver. I can sleep comfortably with little nightmares sweating, and staying cool during the day. I’m very pleased with the TLC 12,000 BTU Air Conditioner and have already recommended it to my neighbors. Having my air conditioner paired to my Alexa is a godsend. We have central air but it does not seem to cool our bedroom down as much as we would like. Having the air conditioner in our window is wonderful. It is easy to set up. I would recommend a 2 person team

And the level noise is Not too bad either. This is perfect for me living in a hot state as it’s about to get hotter so much needed.

With the app you can turn on or turn off your ac, very convenient if you’re not home and want to cool your house down. Easy to install, just put through the window, may need help with another person quite heavy. Not noisy, can barely hear it when it’s running. Cools off my whole downstairs living room, kitchen, and dining room. Also offers an energy efficient mode to help save you money.

I just installed this one into my window the day I got it as the weather has been getting a little warmer here and there as we approach spring, and I am loving it so much! It was very easy to put the panels on the side and install in the window. 12,000 BTU is perfect for the bottom floor area of my home and it works so much better than my previous AC. It’s actually really quiet and it cools my downstairs area quickly. When I first turned the AC on, I noticed that the lights were blue rather than green, which looks so much more modern and updated. This one also has small holes in the front that lead to the filter rather than the traditional line vents, which I also think looks really nice. The main thing I really love is the smart aspect of this AC. I love that I can connect it to my phone using the app and also my Google Assistant. My old air conditioners never had a feature like that, and I’ll definitely be using those features regularly. I’ll also definitely be using the remote regularly so that I don’t always have to rely on utilizing the smart aspects of it. I’ve never had a TCL brand AC, but I definitely recommend it now!
