Disappointment
Deceptive advertising. The only way to use any of the features (dimming, Amazon Alexa, Bluetooth, change color, turn on/off, etc.) is to pay for a subscription. The only way to use these lights without paying for subscription is to physically plug them in and then unplug them afterwards.

Not worth the edfort.
If I could get them to connect to WiFi, I’m sure they’d be great. I will be returning these and getting the Govee lights that I know will connect.

Live in a retirement community and trying to connect to WiFi to get these lights to be yellow is not worth the hassle of WiFi and Bluetooth. Ha I just want yellow lights. You should have 3 or 4 basic colors programmed like Christmas tree lights. Lights are not worth the hassle of getting app WiFi bluetooth

Pros; Bright, LED's run cool, dynamic light shows are nice, good colors. Super strong 3M adhisive back. cheap Cons; Barrel power plug. Basically one time use in the sense that you will not be able to reinstall this properly.

Great strip unfortunately the sticky backing is terrible. & Not enough mounting hardware provided either. Installation was complicated for it only to be down by the next day. 😣

HORRIBLE
this was HORRIBLE price is too much for quality. I put it up and it feel down 10 min later. does not stick whatsoever, wouldn’t even give it a 1 star if I could. DO NOT BUY.

The worst
Incredibly difficult to install. Not enough mounting hardware supplied and the adhesive didn’t work. And if you tighten the strip too much the light will change to a random color. Awful.

My son bought this for his bedroom to put on his ceiling. Easy enough design, nail some of the clips to the ceiling and peel off the 3M tape backing and stick to ceiling. It all fell down within an hour. They give a small cloth to wipe down the surface first, but that does nothing. the stickiness was not great and now I don't know what to do to get this to stay on his ceiling.

Cheaper versions
I bought numerous set past few years. Recently , I purchased two more boxes. My older set are 6 pin, these newer are 4 pin. Nowhere does it say anything about that, so now I have extention set that can't connect to anything. Same description. What a joke.

I bought this to go behind my TV, but you don't find out until you've been buy it that you cannot bend it. Also it says to only cut on dotted lines but there are no dotted lines. The installation instructions are practically non-existent and they do not match the product. It was very difficult getting it to connect the device but once it was finally set up we were very happy. Anybody it should not take this long to set up a LED light strip and we have a smart home with many other smart devices. This one was a hassle. Extremely overpriced for what it is.

Loving it so far.
Just purchased them a couple hours ago, came home and installed them, and immediately turned on some music and put them on music mode. Love them! Hopefully they last a long time. And the remote is easy to use and the lights have a sticky backing that made installation very easy.
