Changed for the Worse
These used to have flecks of raspberry in them, now it's like the have raspberry flavored sugar flakes instead. Gross and disappointing after paying so much.

This has a nice raspberry flavor, not too sweet or too tart. The chocolate by itself is not that great. It's a little too dark for me. I like my dark chocolate to be around the 70% range. I have no idea what percentage this is since it doesn't say. I'd guess around 65%. If it wasn't intense dark I think I'd like it more.

Incredible for homemade truffles!
My grandmother passed this month, and there were two things she always had- chocolate and wine. I enjoy making hommafe truffles, and Ghirardelli bars are my favorite to melt into the cream base. I used to LOVE the Cabernet Matinee Intense Dark, and was wanting to make something similar in truffle-form. I cooked down some grapes from her concord vine, added cream, and melted an Intense Dark Raspberry Chocolate bar into base. After solidifying in the fridge, I rolled the chocolate into little balls. Each one was dusted in lavender-infused sugar and Ghirardelli Dutch Cocoa Powder. These were the best chocolate I ever made. Bon Appétit, Grandma!

Be a Good Stewart
I use Consumer Reports! This is one of the few that is lower in heavy metals! I don’t think stores should sell harmful foods. They don’t sell harmful baby toys…why not be a good Stewart and not stand for harmful foods!
