Glad I made the purchase.

I didn't like this product on it's own. It didn't do much to straighten and control my hair but did make it soft, which I like. I decided to use it up by mixing it 50/50 with my Pantene hair gel and it was great. That combo did the trick. I got the smooth and silky hair I used to have before I started coloring it. I do like Giovanni products and am glad that Swanson's carries this brand.

A drop or 2 of oil makes it work better
I like this product very much, though most of the time I add a drop or two of a botanical oil blend.

Works great to make hair smoother!
I am very happy with the Straight Fast Straightening Elixir. It works very well to make my hair smoother, less frizzy, straighter, and more manageable. It is so effective that I only need a small amount to get the desired result. And the product was not very expensive, so you are getting very good value for your money. I would recommend this product to anyone who wants smoother, more manageable hair. I also like the fact that it has no strong scent, so it does not clash with other products I use.
