Q: I know the wooden lid has a seal around it, which works great around everything but the pour spout, which exposes the contents to air- or at least mine does. Won’t that expose the contents to any air/odits in the fridge?

A: In answering my own question, I loosely draped a sheet of plastic wrap over the top of the container, leaving extra room in the middle. The lid goes on perfectly and I can adjust the plastic wrap to cover the pour spout.

Q: The pitcher holds sweetened, with sugar, ice tea in the refrigerator. The underside of the lid grows mold in several places. I continually wash the lid with detergent. What can I do to stop this?

A: Hello - We appreciate your for bring this to our notice. We suggest you to cleans the lid with vinegar and baking soda to remove mold and residue. Further tips for helping prevent the future growth mold are: Remove and dry the lid thoroughly after each use Store the lid separately, allowing the lid to dry between uses Never place the pitcher in the refrigerator when filled with war or hot liquids, as this will increase condensation on the underside of the lid, which will increase the chances of mold growth on the bottom of the lid. Terrible pitcher, don't buy it
This is quite possibly the worst pitcher ever invented. The wooden lid does not stop liquid from coming out of the spout, yet you can’t pour the liquid when the lid is on. There is always a dribble down the front of the pitcher after pouring. Also, the adhesive from the stickers used to hold the lid closed prior to purchase stayed on the wooden lid and now collects dust. Bring back the metal lidded version! That one was so much better designed.

Bamboo Lid will Mold
Love that this is glass but hate that the top is bamboo. I was enjoying this pitcher and washing regularly. The handle felt a little thin which I was nervous about but nothing happened thankfully. However, after my most recent wash, I noticed the bamboo lid has started to mold so I have to throw it out. I've had this for about 6 months. Wish they were able to use a different material. Waste of money.

I like the overall look & anesthetic of the pitcher, however, I do feel like the handle could be larger. In addition, you cannot freely pour from the spout without first removing the lid. It's not a deal breaker, just annoying.
