Q: The mirror I got does not have lights on it like it does in the video that's the reason I got this, I'm confused...does anyone else?

A: Hi Jessica, We have not tested our mirrors in this exact model, however, the Scion TC head rests look to be compatible with our Go by Goldbug mirror attachment, this may depend on the year of your vehicle though.

Q: Is this mirror able to be used with only the horizontal back strap? I have headrests that are attached to the seat (i.e., they do not go up and down), thus I cannot use mirrors that use straps under the headrest.

This mirror works well. It attaches easily and securely and is very lightweight which is important as it would be unlikely to be a projectile in a crash. It helps me safely monitor my son during long car rides I love it so much I bought one for my husbands truck. You can also easily tuck an iPhone into the bottom material to play videos if needed. This is great for us because we go camping and sometimes we need to keep our toddler entertained in the truck while we set up our camper.

does not work for small babies. the mirror barely adjusts on the headrest so you can only see top of babies head. Works fine for toddler but the mirror does not have any magnification, the child appears extremely far away.

This mirror is so poorly designed. It's difficult to install and doesn't allow you to angle it in a way where you can see the baby. Tried in two different cars thinking it was the headrest style. No, this is just useless. I wish I read the reviews before adding to the registry and having someone waste their money on this junk

Its very basic and plan mirror. I was looking for a mirror that would maybe light up or sing, as my baby crys in the car alot. However I wasn't able to find one and this one was in sale. It does it job though.

When this mirror is in the right place, it works as it is intended. However, it is so hard to get it to where I can see the baby and not the back of my head. I'm not sure how the straps are supposed to work. I cannot get it in the right spot in my spouse's car– I have spent quite a lot of time trying to figure it out. Sometimes, I can get it to the right spot in my car (after it has been taken out), if I make the straps long and crisscross them. But, then it cannot be moved, or it is very hard to get it back. When it is in the correct position, it seems to stay in place.

This is quite possibly the most poorly designed mirror I have ever used. The straps are impossible to tighten because they are located on the underside, and you can’t adjust the angle of the mirror at all.

This mirror doesn’t stay adjusted. The straps become loose over time and it loses its position. We found that we had to keep making sure it was adjusted before each car ride. Huge hassle. Go for the Munchkin Brica 360° Pivot Baby In-Sight Adjustable, such better quality!

I figured out how to adjust the straps but I can’t adjust it to see the baby. It just reflects the back of my front passenger seat and the window to the door of the backseat.

I received this as a gift and was excited because it's soft and made with cloth. However, it's a pain to install, you cannot adjust the straps to tighten no matter what you do, and you can't tilt it down. I was able to get it to work for a little while on our middle seat, but we recently switched to one of the outer seats. You would think the bigger head rest would provide a better fit, but no... These are not made to fit every car.
