A: Hi Amar, thanks for reaching out about GOPRO HERO11 Action Camera - Black. GoPros have always been able to take photos and, while not amazing, they are getting better and better. Like a point and shoot, the controls and zoom are basic. You can enable SuperPhoto, HDR, standard, or RAW modes for photos with a Linear or Wide lens. To turn on a GoPro Hero11 action camera, simply press the "Mode" button located on the side of the camera; this will power it on. Q: Does this camera come with sd card? If not what size does it take?

A: The HERO11 Black does not come with an SD card in the package. The HERO11 Black can use SD cards up to 1TB, but not all cards are capable of handling the data rate that the HERO11 Black requires. You'll want to use a name-brand microSD card with a V30 or UHS-3 rating.

Q: is it waterproof with out a case

A: Yes, the HERO11 Black is waterproof on its own down to 33 feet. If you plan to go deeper than that, there is a protective housing that is sold separately that will allow the camera to go as deep as 196 feet.

This was extremely hard to figure out. Not user friendly. Messed my entire vacation up (ski trip) and ended up only recording half of what I wanted to. Sad. There is NO customer service phone number for go pro, only a “chat” that is certain hours and days of the week. So disappointed!!!!!!!

PLEASE READ!!! Even though this item shows a carry case, it does NOT come with one. Contacted customer support and they didnt really care that their website is falsely advertising this product. Should have remembered why I quit shopping at Target.

Overheats a lot, went from a 7 which was great but the 11 does have way better image and video quality plus stability. I would recommend the 11 if you can deal with the constant overheating during warm days. I also play paintball and wear it during 15 min games out in the sun inside the waterproof case so it doesn’t get shattered by a paintball. So that could be the issue as well, still not acceptable for the price of both the go pro and housing.
