Description
Gorilla clear grip is the crystal clear, holds in an instant contact adhesive. Gorilla clear grip is a flexible, fast-setting, crystal clear contact adhesive that creates a strong permanent bond. Gorilla clear grip is paintable and waterproof making it great for projects both inside and out! product features: permanent bond crystal clear fast grab: holds in just seconds 100% waterproof: for indoor/outdoor No-Run formula paintable flexible washer & dryer safe photo safe Gorilla clear grip can be adhered to many surfaces including: wood, metal, stone, ceramic, glass, plastic*, PVC, brick, concrete, foam, paper, rubber, fabric, and laminate. *Note: not recommended for use on polystyrene, polypropylene or polyethylene products. Not for use on food contact surfaces. Do not dry clean. may cause damage to finished surfaces. Directions: all surfaces should be clean and free of dirt, grease and oil. Best if used between 50°f and 90°f. Clear grip should only be used in a well ventilated area. 1. Apply adhesive to each surface to be bonded. To maximize bond strength: wait approximately two minutes for adhesive partially dry before joining surfaces. 2. Press surfaces firmly together. Note: bond forms immediately and can be difficult to reposition. Cure time: allow for a minimum of 24 hours for full cure. Cure time may increase with lower temperatures and when used on non-porous surfaces. Storage tips: after each use, wipe nozzle with a dry cloth and tightly replace cap. Store in a cool, dry location. Tip: for easier re-opening, apply a thin coat of petroleum jelly to the threads before replacing cap. Store away from children and animals. Clean-up: wipe uncured adhesive with a dry cloth and clean with acetone, ISOPROPYL alcohol, or citrus based solvents according to manufacturer’s instructions. Water Would Be More Effective!
Absolutely useless. Did not bond materials as stated in the description. I think water would create a superior bond compared to this worthless mess. I've used other Gorilla products with some success but this one is a bigtime failure. Did they forget to add a bonding agent or are they just living off their name?

Glue to hard to dispense requiring a gorilla like grip to push out the product. Like others who commented on the smell, I wish I had looked at the package because it does give the VOC category measurement of VOC <55%

DO NOT BUY
Does NOT hold in "seconds". Held what I was glueing down for well over two minutes, only for it to fall apart in seconds after I let go. Knocked a handful of fragile items over. Now I get to deal with my stuff being messed up AND my room smelling like hot melted plastic cause of this nasty glue. Would give zero stars if I could

Smelled Like Airplane Solvent
Had to return this. I took it out of the package (hadn’t opened the tube yet), and right away the smell hit me. If I didn’t know any better, I’d say it was like airplane solvent… basically, it smelled like it should not be mass-marketed. I couldn’t handle that, so I returned it. And I don’t like returns at all, so I really tried to make it work. And the glue didn’t even stick!

I had to do a repair on one of my Halloween tombstones (from Target as well) that got knocked over by the wind and the hourglass fell out. I applied this glue, set something heavy on top of it overnight and now my tombstone is as good as new. I will say be careful when you open it tube, without any pressure being applied the glue starts to ooze out once the cap is off. Great product though!!

Great grip
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the Gorilla brand, I needed to repair a solar light and super glue did not work. Bottom of the light is plastic and just had a small crack. I waited after applying for glue to partially dry and it worked great. This will be a handy glue to have in my household, I like that it dries clear and is waterproof so outside things can be repaired also.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a big DIY Crafter and a lot of the times I find a hot glue gun doesn't do the trick for certain things so I grabbed this amazing Gorilla Glue to do the trick. I made a sculpture out of metal and I needed to attach it to a brick wall and this glue did exactly that. My husband tried to pull it off the wall 2 weeks later and can't. It's amazing stuff. I highly recommend this for any kind of glue projects!

I have held off writing this review because I have tried so many different adhesives over the years, only to have them work for a short while, and then fail me a month down the road. However, GORILLA Clear Grip has not let me down. I used it to repair a valance on a window blind that is outdoors to start with. Its a good size. It works well and goes on clear for projects that are visibly noticeable. It does take a little while to dry but after it’s dry but boy does it hold, and a little goes a long way. I am very pleased with this glue.
