Q: Is the bassinet safe for sleep at night?

A: I have trouble trusting this bassinet for sleep as the mattress bunches and I have seen my baby roll his face into the sides.

A: The sheets are infuriating to change. Also, only purchase cotton sheets. Other materials bunch up due to the way the mattress is folded and your baby can't sleep on it.

Q: I will be traveling soon and taking my 7 month old and his pack 'n play for night time sleeping. Is there anything that I can purchase to SAFELY make the mattress a little softer? It's like a wooden plank!

A: Thanks for reaching out to us. For the Graco Pack N Playard Change N Carry, using a thicker or a different sized mattress/ pad may allow a child's head to get between mattress/pad and the side of the Playard causing suffocation. Never add a mattress, pillow comforter or padding. Use only the mattress pad provided by Graco.

We got this on our registery which we were very excited about. especially because the changing table would be nice to have downstairs. I packed it up to head to a friends house and when I opened it back up one of the sides bent and is now sagging. I am not sure how this bent so easily but I wouldn't recommend this product because of that.

I'm a new mom. I bought this for my son thinking it would be the perfect place for him in my living room. It worked great for a couple months, but he's already outgrown the bassinet part. There's no way to expand the bassinet, so he can't use it again until many months from now when we can use the play yard. This model should've come with a full size bassinet.

I bought this for my granddaughter. We have used graco packnplays before and I really like this one best for its versatility. My only complaint is you either use the changer or the newborn seat not both since they attach in the same location. I love the spacious shelves while in bassinet mode!! The gentle vibrations and music 🎶 box are also added pluses. Easy to assemble and disassemble. Perfect for portable crib/ bassinet or playpen!! I would highly recommend this for any new parents or grandparents.

I got this Playard to have for my first grandbaby who arrives in November. I love everything about it except the newborn seat which is virtually useless. It's so much work to take it out that we won't be using it. Thankfully, I didn't buy it for the seat. I wanted the compartments underneath for my daughter to put baby's stuff when she visits, the light for nighttime changes, the changing table and sleeping area all in one. First time set up is a bit of a project so be sure to follow the directions! Family and friends who saw it at her baby shower have been blown away by all the features included in this Playard. I loved the Pack n Play I used for my 3 kids when they were little ones, and glad to see they still make them plus added so many extra features. Can't wait to use it when my grandson arrives!

The changing pad is very useful, but I don’t like that you can’t remove it and it just be a “bassinet” so the baby can sleep. My 2month old doesn’t fit in the “bassinet” side anymore.

Mixed feelings about this playard. The changing pad was very useful when my baby was a newborn, but not the “bassinet” part. My baby refused to sleep in there. Now that baby is bigger and crawling, I like to place baby in there when I need to clean or get something done. But other than that, i wouldn’t use this as a travel crib

You can have a place to change baby, sleep, and play in the pack n play. Great for the living room or play room where your family spends the most time during the day. Te surface of the pack n play is also easy to clean up after changes. When baby gets bigger you can take out the top insert and use as a play pen when necessary. A recommended buy for anyone expecting.

Nice product. Pretty versatile. The storage underneath is great along with the changing table. We put diapers and wipes and stuff down below and then attach the changing table when it's time for a change. The actual sleeping/playing space is fairly spacious. All in all a worthwhile purchase.

We had a changing table connected to our crib but we also used this pack n play with the changing table and bassinet. We used this product 99% of the time. It was the easiest to use most of the time. Comfort and convenience!

Loved the pack n play my daughter's spent most of there time in it wen they were babies. The changing table helped alot and it was always nice to have when I wasn't home where the crib was. They'd fall right to sleep and it was easy to put away when I was done using it.

I really liked the idea behind this Pack n Play. The star mobile is cute, however be very WARNED! First time using it, my child nearly sufficated by wiggling herself too close to the side in the bassinet section. That was seriously only 15 minutes using it. She is only 6 weeks & premie. The bassinet section even has a warning on it about infants have sufficated! How is this still legal to even sell? I can't even use it without worrying if my child will be fine in it! Do NOT buy. I wish I did more research on it before adding it on my registery. Wish I could get something else, safer, instead

I received this as a gift from my registry when I was expecting my first child. I agree with a lot of the other reviewers and wish I had read their reviews before adding this to my registry. It is great that this pack n play has the bassinet and diaper changing area but we rarely used it. My baby quickly outgrew the bassinet portion in length and I had always thought I’d just put him down into the full mattress when he outgrew it. The mattress is SO low that I couldn’t comfortably place baby on mattress post c-section and even when I felt more comfortable in my recovery, it is far too low to transfer a sleeping baby from my arms to the mattress without waking him up. I had intended to use this as a step down from bassinet and to keep him in our room for longer but for these reasons, I can’t make it work. It would be great if there was another insert to have a raised mattress as a step down from the bassinet.
