Q: Is the mattress pad in the pack n play on top of metal bars to keep from flipping? Or is it just velcro?

I brought this pack and play in February of 2023 and It was easy to put together and I was able to easily find a mattress and sheets as well. Generally, I thought it was a great purchase until my daughter developed plagiocephaly from the bassinet part of the pack and play. I started to notice it at 3 months and it progressively got worse. I thought it was something that I was doing wrong so I made sure I was doing tummy time and sitting her up more to try to help. She went to the doctor and she ended up having to wear a helmet and was fortunate to only have to wear it for 4 months and is 12 months old now. During the holidays while traveling, we had her take a nap in the bassinet during her 1 hour with her helmet being off and after so much progress, it had flattened her head that fast. From there I knew it was from how flat the material or padding was in the bassinet. We had transitioned her to using the mattress in the pack and play, so that was the first time she had used it in some time and she also had her helmet on most times so it was by chance that i figured it out that way. The material for the bassinet NEEDS to be changed ASAP. Until it is I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

We bought this pack n play two years ago for our first daughter, and we are still using it now with our three month old. We love the changing station, which really is easy to clean up and very sturdy (it still holds our toddler for easy diaper changes)! The portable bassinet is awesome, and I love being able to move it around the house or travel long distances with it. It also fits great next to our bed.

Easy to assemble, currently 34 weeks pregnant. Like how you can take the bassinet by itself so for the meantime you can store the pack n play away until baby grows out of the bassinet. Wanted this mainly when we visit family or go travel that I can have the baby sleep comfortable rather than sleeping in a stroller or bouncer. Would recommend to family and friends . Newborn outfit in the pic for reference on the bassinet

This Pack 'n Play is near perfect for anyone trying to be fairly minimalist and/or living in a small space where you can't have too many different baby areas. We use the changing pad extension almost exclusively for changing our baby's diapers. It's great! For sleeping, we use the portable bassinet. Which actually has worked nicely as we can leave the changing pad in place and leave diapers/clothes (lightweight stuff) in the infant bassinet below the changing pad, rather than having to remove the changing pad constantly (if we were using the infant bassinet). It all is a very efficient and space saving method BUT, I can't get past the fact that the oddly shaped portable bassinet pad has no fitted sheet option. The only way to really clean it of all the inevitable spit up takes 4+hrs...where does the baby sleep while awaiting a slow hang dry process?! The planned obsolescence at play here drives me batty, especially when I'm sleep deprived and forced to hold the little lad until his bassinet is usable again. (FYI - you could just buy spare bassinet pads for a minor additional cost...but I refuse to do this on principle...this is an obvious limitation that should have been default dealt with as part of the base purchase).

My wife looked for a quality pack and play and, since we also wanted a bassinet, thought this would be a great fit. It does a lot of stuff well, like having a changing table or being easy to put together, but the bassinet is rendered useless with any fitted sheets or extra mattresses. Somehow, Graco didn't realize that babies stain things often, so 1 mattress won't work at all. Had we known this would be the case, we would not have purchased this. Going forward, I'm going to give all graco products a thorough scrutinizing before even entertaining the idea of purchasing.

This has the potential to be a great product. The pack and play itself is fine. The changing table is good. My issue is with the bassinet. I loved the idea of a free standing bassinet which is the whole reason I purchased this set, BUT be aware the bassinet mattress pad velcros into the bassinet, does not come with sheets, and there are no sheets that will fit it safely and properly. My baby spits up a lot—and the only way to fully clean this pad is to put it in the wash on delicate cycle and then let it air dry. Which is a huge hassle and very time consuming to have to do every single day. If your baby poops or pees through the diaper in the middle of the night, there’d be no way to quickly clean the pad. So we barely use the bassinet now. Graco did not get back to me when I contacted them asking if I could purchase additional mattress pads. This product would be amazing if Graco either sold additional separate mattress pads so we had extras or if they made the pad wipeable or create fitted sheets for it.

Ive had this pack n play for about 2 weeks now and I absolutely love it , it’s a 2 in 1 , bassinet included , perfect size not too big or to small , it saves from having to invest in a 200-300$ bassinet and pack n play is nice too again I have a 2 week year old so I haven’t gone as far as too using it but it looks great all I wish it had is more storage space on the side for diapers and such but other than that it was a great investment, you really get your moneys worth I love the fact that it comes with a whole bassinet I keep that upstairs next to my bed and the pack in play in the living room . Buy it ! It’s a great deal !!!

I got this crib as a gift and I love it tremendously! Easy to build and put together. The only issue I wish all your crib needs is a baby night light on the bassinet or crib… if Graco could implement that in the future it would help at night to see the baby in the crib or bassinet… I got your Alaska model… but other then that it’s an awesome bassinet and crib.

I would save your money and buy a play pen without a removable bassinet. I had a big baby and they hated the bassinet because it's so small and constricting. The larger bassinet/crib that's made by raising the mattress in the playpen is helpful, because you can move your baby from there right to the attached changing table and back, which is helpful at night. There are other options that have that feature but don't have a removable bassinet-go with that and save your money, especially if you have a big baby.

I spend hours comparing Pack n Plays and this seemed to hit most of my requirements, most importantly a separate bassinet for infant and a travel design with a travel bag. The infant bassinet is great and I chose this one because the height is adjustable. I'm 7 months pregnant so I haven't used it with the baby yet, but it's all assembled and ready to go, assembly wasn't hard, and all in all, I love the versatility of this Pack n Play. I know we'll get a lot of use out of it. I wish sheets were sold together, or at least as a suggestion, as now I need to spend a while looking for the right fit sheets. Otherwise, all is perfect!

The mesh paneling has holes big enough for my newborns toe to fit through. Unfortunately we woke up to blood everywhere with a cut in my babies pinkie toe. Would not recommend for newborn.
