For indoor or outdoor use, the Graco® Pack 'n Play® Lite Traveler™ LX Playard folds up compactly for easy travel and storage. The LiteTraveler is the most compact folding outdoor playard* (*vs. the leading competitor), featuring a one-step setup and fold for easy use. This extra-large playard can be used like a baby gate to create a spacious play area for your living room or a roomy and safe outdoor play space for your backyard or deck. A removable UV 50 canopy provides sun protection and shade for outdoor play. Airy mesh sides help keep your child in sight as they play, while a zippered activity door allows for easy in and out. A padded floor provides added comfort. It features durable, removable fabrics that are machine washable for easy cleaning. Includes a travel bag with shoulder strap for on-the-go convenience.

Q: with the canopy top does the side enclosure so no mosquitoes can fly in? I know it's only half a canopy but I do plan so put a mesh to cover the rest that's open.

Durable
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very durable just like we wanted. Nice size for any room or outdoor area. A bit heavy to carry and move around the house and yard. Better to carry with the bag that has a strap, but that is onerous just for moving around at home. Wish it came with a pad or mat. Latch takes some strength to clip.

Great! Except that latch!
The ONLY thing I don't care for is the latch. It is SO very hard to latch it when I set it up. Most of the time I have to turn it over and push the latch with my foot. Even my husband has trouble with it. You really have to have some serious muscles and hand strength to pull the latch up and latch it. Other than that we LOVE it!

A safe place for those now mobile infants

Difficult
I have not used the new playpen we bought for our grandson yet. We took it out of the box to see how it looks when set up. It was extremely difficult to secure it in the open position. We finally got it, but our hands were sore afterwards.

Only Playard
Grace’s playard is as sensible and convenient as their “Pack and Play,” which must be the best baby product in the world. It is a portable crib or an only crib for families with little space. The playard is the only playard a family needs. It is larger than the cribs and has more room for babies large enough to crawl or walk. The shape fits into a room better than a square. The optional pad makes it an acceptable crash pad or outdoor confinement. Best of all, it folds up even more easily than anything and is very lightweight.

The overall structure of the frame is well put together and sturdy but the material used for the playard netting is not very stong, already started ripping and there in zero padding on the floor part it’s just a thin sheet like nylon

Great buy
Great play yard. Fits nicely in an apartment. It's a little hard to click in to place. If you don't mind the struggle to get the safety click in place it will be easy to pack and take anywhere.

Love it!
This is a game changer! Whenever we travel, whether it is a vacation or to visit the grandparents we take this with. It is a great way to ensure that our 10pm month old has a safe place to play, regardless of whether the place is baby proofed. It is very easy to open, close and put in its carrier.

Good but could be better
Difficult to lock in the open position. Plastic lock button and lever will eventually chafe with frequent opening and closing. Sewn tabs at posts tear easily.

Great Playpen!
Really like this playpen for our 7 month old. Big enough to play around in but retracts so easily and fits in the bag for easy travel. I’ll even leave the toys in there and retract it up, it’s that simple.
