A: You can use the seatbelt but you will need the anchor hooks for forward facing.

Q: We use turned the car seat around to forward facing. We are having a hard time pulling the strap to tighten the harness when our child gets buckled in. Are we doing something wrong?

A: We have the same issue! It feels like we are going to break our wrists just to tighten the strap to fit our toddler. We will have to get a different carseat because there is no way the grandparents can tighten the straps enough.

Q: can this be used/installed in rear-facing mode using only car seatbelt in a car without isofix? I tried another car seat and it was only possible to use in forward-facing mode.

A: I also had this issue with another convertible seat. And the anchor belts just didn't seem secure. Looked like it was held on by a small piece of plastic. Hoping this seat is better.

A: Yes the base is attached. And in the manual it states "This child restraint is certified for use in aircraft only when used with the internal harness system. Use only on forward-facing aircraft seats."

I don’t understand how this passed safety tests. The harness doesn’t tighten enough to keep our 8 month old (29 inches, 22 pounds) in place… I’m not picky about baby products and own multiple graco items but good grief a car seat that’s harness doesn’t tighten down well?? Take this crap off the market.

We have had several Graco seats and have liked them all. Not this one. The head surround is extremely noisy. It rattled up and down the road over the smallest bumps and there is not way to tighten that part of the seat. When rear facing, it is also extremely difficulty to tighten or loosen the straps due to poor placement of this button and it’s against the seat. We returned it.

Survived a car accident

We got into a car accident with pretty hard impact. The air bags deployed and my car is totaled. My 3 year old son was rear facing in his car seat and was thankfully uninjured. Now I’m back here to re-purchase the same car seat. Graco has been my go-to brand for the last 8 years, and this experience solidified that for me. Please please please follow the guidelines and rear-face your child for as long as the weight/height limits allow.

I’ve had this car seat for 4 years now. It’s is hands down the best one I have ever had. This seat is for my 5th child. My child has never complained about being too hot in the seat or being uncomfortable. The seat has been the easiest to install quickly and it’s always very tight won’t move. We have put this seats in at least 4 different vehicles and it fit in all perfectly. So easy to wash. I just washed it again and it looks brand new. I have had a lot of car seats since this is child #5 and highly recommend this one!

It took two people to install this… and still difficult to do, we could not get a tight proper install. Difficult to loosen the harness straps. Huge bummer because it fits in my car perfectly but I can’t get over the flaws.

This car seat is great and much more comfortable for my son. The only critiques I have are that it's not as easy to install like our old one was and I don't like that you can't visibly see the button to push to loosen the straps.
