The No-Rethread Simply Safe Adjust™ Harness System allows you to adjust the height of the headrest and harness in one motion, helping to save you time and ensure your child is properly secured. Choose the perfect headrest height from 10 positions and adjust the seat to 6 recline positions for a better installation. The car seat is LATCH-equipped for easy installation. The integrated harness storage compartment keeps the harness safely stored away, without removing, while in belt-positioning booster mode. Open-loop belt guides help properly position your vehicle’s seat belt across your child in highback booster mode. 2 easy-to-clean cup holders keep your child's drinks and snacks close at hand, and the seat pad is comfortable and machine washable for your convenience. Q: can this be used/installed in rear-facing mode using only car seatbelt in a car without isofix? I tried another car seat and it was only possible to use in forward-facing mode.

A: You can use the seatbelt but you will need the anchor hooks for forward facing.

Q: We use turned the car seat around to forward facing. We are having a hard time pulling the strap to tighten the harness when our child gets buckled in. Are we doing something wrong?

A: We have the same issue! It feels like we are going to break our wrists just to tighten the strap to fit our toddler. We will have to get a different carseat because there is no way the grandparents can tighten the straps enough.

A: Yes the base is attached. And in the manual it states "This child restraint is certified for use in aircraft only when used with the internal harness system. Use only on forward-facing aircraft seats."

This seat can be used in an aircraft when the 5 point harness is being used. Due to the weight and grow with baby features, the base is integrated into the seat. We hope this helps!

The reason I gave it 4 stars is they did away with the easy to read level on the latest model. And I wish the In-Right LATCH was installed versus the hook LATCH. We still love it though!

Impossible to get tight when rear facing. Tried using anchor straps and seatbelt method. Very unstable, would never use with my child for how much it wiggles when it’s supposed to be tight. Anchor method is VERY difficult to tighten.

Seems ok except no “ball level” and seems very uncomfortable for my baby by pushing his head forward, the headrest portion isn’t flush with back. Doesn’t seem healthy for spine. Will be trying to return or exchange.

I am a grandma & wanted to be able to use for 3 of my grands who are all different ages/ sizes but all needing to be in a seat still. This one makes it hard to swap between them.

The level line is frustrating. The installation video shows a bubble, but we noticed it was a line. This is our grandparent car seat so we wanted a reasonably priced, safe car seat that would be easier to install. I don’t know that this was easy to install for those that haven’t seen car seats in a while. It definitely had some funkier things than our other branded car seats that took some manual-reading. Otherwise seemed to be comfortable for our kids. Grandparents said they would not be removing it ha!

As another reviewer stated, it makes the child’s head push forward, appearing very uncomfortable. I wish I had taken those comments more seriously prior to purchasing. We also have the 4 Ever DLX, as well as several infant seats and other car seats, strollers, swings, etc and I’ve never disliked a Graco product as much as this one.
