A: Absolutely not. Follow the weight and height requirements for each car seat. Children should be in a rear facing car seat until 2-3, or until they max out the weight and height requirements for their seat. Forward facing until 40-60lbs, and not in a booster until they max out the weight and height requirements for their forward facing car seat. Generally 60lbs and not until at least 4, but later if you can.

Poor quality and unsafe
The booster seat does not have a latch on it. The car seat tipped over with my son in it. He was so scared! I threw away the box but will still be returning and getting a different one.

Horrible Design and doesn't feel safe
Lightweight but AWFUL design and felt unsafe. Not sure if I got a fluke with seeing so many good reviews on this, but this car seat is not it. The backing doesn’t click to hold in place, it just falls flat if you’re not carrying it correctly. The backing was slanted, not up right causing the car seat to not fit in my car. And yes I tried adjusting but there was no going up straighter without feeling like I was going to break the cheap plastic. The base was hanging off the ledge of the seat. It has no safety anchors at all, so it’s loosely sitting. I guess it’s reliant on the seat belt and the weight of the child? The install of the armrest was awful then horrible to detach. I would not recommend wasting time purchasing this car seat. I wish I had taken photos to showcase everything mentioned, but didn’t before taking it apart for return.

Light and slim. Effective and safe. For all of the people complaining about the lack of a latch system. You can’t use the latch system for kids over 40lbs on most car seats. The latch system for most cars typically holds 65lb max… that is child and seat included. So if your seat is hefty, 20-25 pounds, than your 40lb child is at the weight limit for the latch system and you should transition to the seatbelt system at that time. So, if you’re using this booster at the appropriate age, weight, and height…. You wouldn’t be using the latch system with your previous car seat system anyways, so why need it with this one?

This carseat/ booster seat and poor quality. The side hook that is supposed to keep the seatbelt in tact does not keep the seatbelt steady which isn’t safe. I wish i didn’t throw the box away after I opened it and waited otherwise I would have returned this in a heartbeat.
