The IIHS Best Bet KidFit® ClearTex® Plus Booster is designed with 10 positions of DuoGuard® protection, plus quick-release LATCH for easy removal and no added chemicals. The easy-adjust headrest ensures proper belt positioning and integrated side wings offer two layers of protection for the head & torso with a rigid shell and EPS energy-absorbing foam.

Q: Is there a way to stop this seat from tipping over every time I make a turn? I have it latched on both sides but when my son is using it, every turn of the vehicle is like a rollercoaster to him.

A: The latches on the KidFit booster seat are not required for use. They do keep the car seat in the vehicle seating position when the car seat is unoccupied. We recommend buckling the vehicle seat belt over the car seat when it is unoccupied so the car seat does not slide across the vehicle seat.

Purchased and installed today. When adjusting the latch tightness the latches releases. Tried several times and pulled on the seat, it came loose. This is dangerous! The reason to purchase the booster is to keep your child safe. I have no faith. that my child wouldn't get ejected out of the vehicle. Will return today back to Target. Back to Graco.

Super simple install, BUT you have to be so careful not to even touch the latch system or it comes undone. I understand this is just an added level of security and my daughter and the shoulder belt will keep it in place, but it’s frustrating that it comes unlatched so easily. The seat is about as padded as her Graco Extend2Fit was. The cupholders are a great bonus, but one will not clip all the way in to place.

This is a great booster seat! I had to get one to pick up my 4 year old niece from school and she loved it. It’s easy to install and it’s snug on the seat. She loves the dual cup holders too. I gave it 4 stars for comfort because the seat belt was rubbing her neck but I just put one of those pads on the strap and she said it was fine. Overall a great seat!

I honestly was very hesitant about getting this car seat because of the reviews. I decided to purchase and test it out myself. Many of the reviews say that it doesn’t fit tight on the car but I don’t think they are doing it right. I put on the car seat latched on then I used my weight to put down while pulling on the string at the same time. This helped me get a tight fit. My son loves it and it is so easy to move from car to car.

Ordered this to use as a high back booster for my 6 year old. You get what you pay for. As someone who bought uppababy, nuna and britax seats before this, the chicco Kidfit feels like a cheap piece of plastic. It comes in assembled and feels like it could snap putting it together or taking it apart. Everything about it is frustrating and difficult to get a good fit. My child hasn’t used it yet, so I don’t know if it’s comfortable. May just return it and get a clek.

This seat does NOT sit tightly against the car seat when matched and tightened as much as possible. I took a sharp turn and the seat completely tipped to its side with my daughter buckled in. I would absolutely return if I could and would certainly not recommend. Very disappointed as we have always had Chico car seats, travel systems, booster seats, & pack and plays and have never had a problem. It’s all over YouTube if you look up how to properly install as I did bc I was certain I had done something wrong but I had not, it’s just so lose it can tip over in the car 😩

A booster seat is designed to properly position the child in the vehicle seat. The vehicle seat belt is what is protecting the child in the event of an accident just like it would for an adult.
