I bought this online and had it sent to a relative we were flying in to see so we’d have a booster for our 6YO. The seat feels cheap, and the cover does not stay on—the little snaps to hold it down in front pop out constantly. We made it work for a week, but I wish I’d stuck with the slightly more expensive Graco seat we have at home.

This booster seat is terrible. We have the older version of this one for my son and it has been great. The seat never moved or slid around in the car. We recently purchased this model and the back is flimsy, the padding doesn’t stay on and the seat slides all over the place. I understand it’s just meant to boost the child up, however if the seat is slipping and sliding it makes the child more unsafe than if they had no booster at all. Huge waste of money and I am VERY disappointed.

When it arrives I had the hardest time putting it in my car. Then the seat belt had a hard time crossing over the seat. The final straw was when I made a turn the seat broke and fell over. Crappy booster seat. DO NOT BUY

From reviewing I'd believed there was a latch system for this particular seat, however that is not the case. The assembly was a bit annoying but not hard to follow. Seat is less bulky as it's a booster so takes up less room and love that the back can be taken off if you so choose to just use the seat without the back support.

First of all, the assembly was difficult as there were hardly any instructions that came in the box. Somehow managed to put the seat together but the seat itself look made with very poor quality material. Not much cushioning. However the major concern was the safety and stability of the seat. The seat isnt stable at all and it topples if you are taking sharp turns. This happened many times and happened when seatbelts were on. The seat itself is wobbly.

We are sorry to hear of the disappointment with the GoTime Booster seat. This model seat is a belt positioning seat only to where it is held in the vehicle with only the vehicle seat belt. It is designed to help boost the child up so that the shoulder and lap belt is position correctly on the child. The Booster Seat itself does not provide the primary means of restraint – the vehicle belts do. When the child is properly restrained in a Booster Seat with the vehicle belts, their risk of injury in all types of crashes is reduced, as the lap and shoulder belt provide excellent restraint of the upper and lower torso.

Bought this car seat today as a temp while i wait for my replacement, My kid loves how much padding there is for naps and his bum. I also like how for canadians it has the booster inserts on the back which help keep it forward so the head rest prevents it from sitting flat.

This booster has been amazing. My 5 yr old loves the double cup holder. Fabric is durable. Easy to assemble, and easy for my son to buckle himself in. Design is subtle, but modern. Really enjoying this seat.

I would recommend the Evenflo brand of car seats. We’ve used it with our children and find them to be good quality, and nice patterns to choose from too. Safety is number one and I trust that the seats made from Evenflo.
