Securing the Viaggio Flex 120 to the car is made easier with the integrated rigid LATCH, equipped with a blind lock attaching system which prevents the seat from being accidentally released by another passenger. The rigid LATCH can tuck back into the base, allowing for an easy installation with just the seat belt. An aluminum-reinforced backrest ensures safety and protection against whiplash in the case of a front-end accident and additional protection in the event of a rear-end collision. Kinetic pods help to move forces away from your baby in case of a side collision. EPS throughout the side wings and headrest also serves to absorb energy during a crash. Disappointing to say the least
I had high hopes for this booster seat, especially for the price tag. As it's one of only 2 reclincing HBB and the only one that will work with non-removable headrests I ordered it for my 9year old who is not yet tall enough to fit safely in just the seat belt of my truck but is a BIG car sleeper. Installed it today according to the manual (and consulted the google) and it's terrible. Most concerning is that during the first turns in our development (and every turn or curve in the road after) the seat would tilt to the side to the point that it was easily at a 15-20 degree angle. Since the side wings are very shallow they did little to assist with holding my daughter in place though she was trying to stay straight while the seat was taking her for a ride. At this point I thought I must have somehow screwed something up so I went looking in other reviews and found i'm not the only one with this experience. I then tried all the "tips and tricks" and picked my kiddo up to come home and had her try the seat again with the same result. I immediately took this seat back out and submitted for a return. As a mom of only one with no other carseats next to this one to hold it in place I can't believe this is safe and I would not recommend it at all. Very disappointing!

Son likes the car seat. It is easy to move around for the most part but depends more on the car's placement of the LATCH hooks. We switch it between the van and car. Van has "visible" hooks while the car's hooks are covered by some fabric. Children find it comfortable even for long car rides. I do find it a bit weighty and am getting 2 more so we don't have to keep switching them around... even though it's been 4 yrs that we've been moving them around.

Great Narrow Seat
We bought this to replace a high back booster that was impossible for our 8 year old to buckle into and really hard for the grownups. The narrow base makes it so she can now buckle herself in. One thing to note is ours arrived a year and a half into its expiration so keep that in mind since you can't buy these in person!

Great quality for the money!
Great quality booster! I really like the folding feature for travel. It’s great that it reclines and the built-in cup holder that takes up no space when it’s not in use is pretty great. Steel frame back not just plastic. High weight and height limit, for longevity. I just wish Peg Perego made an appropriate travel bag for it (they sell one but it’s super flimsy) since this is not a cheap seat so that it would be better protected for air travel.
