submitted byDetjona - 4 months agoA: It is not detachable like most car seats. We had to bring the whole thing in when getting sent home from the hospital, it is not easy to move around with but is helpful for spinning in the car to get baby in the car seat.

A: You can turn the car seat whenever you need to get your toddler in/out of it, it is very easy compared to other car seats. The only time it must remain locked in rear or forward facing is when the car is moving with the child in the seat. You can leave the seat turned any way if child is not in it to allow extra room.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love love the turn option. It makes getting my toddler in so easy. I’ll miss that when she switches to forward facing!!! There are little loops in the sides to tuck the seat belt - this helps with getting her in too, but you have to be fast as they don’t hold incredible well. Adjusting the height is also easy. Press and pull!!! I have no complaints, but my toddler has two: (1) she can’t reach her drink. Cup holders are deep and she can barely reach her bottle, she isn’t tall enough to pull the bottle up and out of the holder. And (2) her head has no support while sleeping. The most reclined angle allowed is still sitting up more than an infant seat. And her head flops around while sleeping. Poor girl!!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We watched the online installation video ahead of time, but not counting the time to watch the video the install only took about 20 minutes the first time with us going through the phamplet as we did it. Overall install was fairly simple and straightforward. Seems very secure with the snug lock option. Use of the seat is very easy for our current rear facing status. Our girl seems much happier in this seat vs her infant carrier seat that she was outgrowing comfort wise, she stays much cooler in the Turn2me. I look forward to seeing how it converts when the time comes.
