I take this each morning. It dissolves, with some stirring, into my hot coffee. I like the individual packets for travelling.

For the last several years I have been using another brand of collagen, which is still great but I thought it was silly to be buying from another company when I have been buying grass fed gelatin from Great Lakes Wellness. I mix it into my coffee in the morning and it doesn't alter the flavor at all. It also dissolves really well, so I'm not having to choke down dry, powdery clumps. I've been enjoying the great lakes collagen powder daily (some days I do half the recommended amount just to stretch it) for about four months now and when I tell you my hair and nails grow so fast I can barely believe it. I used to have really brittle, slow-growing nails, but I'm having to cut my nails every week because they get too long. And they aren't breaking! I realized my hair was growing really fast when I had a haircut and was ready to make an appointment for another at just under the 2 month mark. Usually, I could go four months until I needed another, but I've had a lot of friends commenting on how fast my hair grows, and it's true. I was skeptical at first about the true efficacy of collagen powder (was it just another beauty fad?), and since I'm trying to stick to a tight budget, I keep considering nixing the collagen, but I just can't bring myself to do it.

It dissolves beautifully in hot liquids and it does not overpower the coffee or tea that I am drinking. I have not tried it with cold drinks, but that is not my thing. My nails seem nice and strong when I use it regularly. I think it does help my digestion too. Not noticing any difference in skin. At times I do notice less hair in my brush and shower. Order processing is great too, always on time before I run out.
