At first I wasn’t in love with the collagen taste, even though it’s not suppose to have flavor. To me it did, but now I can’t wait for that first cup in the morning.

I take this each morning. It dissolves, with some stirring, into my hot coffee. I like the individual packets for travelling.

For the last several years I have been using another brand of collagen, which is still great but I thought it was silly to be buying from another company when I have been buying grass fed gelatin from Great Lakes Wellness. I added the collagen to my last auto shipment and was impressed with the quality! It dissolved nicely and was slightly finer than the other brand. Cost was comparable but the ease of adding to my monthly auto shipment is great! I use it every day in various beverages and haven’t had any issues.

I mix it into my coffee in the morning and it doesn't alter the flavor at all. It also dissolves really well, so I'm not having to choke down dry, powdery clumps. I've been enjoying the great lakes collagen powder daily (some days I do half the recommended amount just to stretch it) for about four months now and when I tell you my hair and nails grow so fast I can barely believe it. I used to have really brittle, slow-growing nails, but I'm having to cut my nails every week because they get too long. And they aren't breaking! I realized my hair was growing really fast when I had a haircut and was ready to make an appointment for another at just under the 2 month mark. Usually, I could go four months until I needed another, but I've had a lot of friends commenting on how fast my hair grows, and it's true. It dissolves beautifully in hot liquids and it does not overpower the coffee or tea that I am drinking. I have not tried it with cold drinks, but that is not my thing. My nails seem nice and strong when I use it regularly. I think it does help my digestion too. Not noticing any difference in skin. At times I do notice less hair in my brush and shower.
