A: GreenPan cookware has a limited lifetime warranty on manufacturer defects. The non stick coating carries the limit of 2 years. The 2-year warranty on the nonstick coating covers manufacturing defects which are quite rare. Normal wear and tear is not covered under the warranty. https://www.greenpan.us/pages/warranty

I bought the GreenPan Rio 2PK (8" and 11") Ceramic Nonstick Breakfast Set expecting a safe and reliable nonstick experience — but both pans became nearly unusable within months. Despite following all care instructions (low heat, no metal utensils, proper cleaning), the nonstick coating wore off, and everything sticks — eggs, pancakes, you name it. I tried their recommended “deep cleaning” methods, but nothing worked. The worst part is the customer care is not ready to listen to you, they just ask you to try a "proven" method which should just work. They wont budge if you tell them if you tried it already. Their warranty is a joke. Do not waste your money. These pans are unreliable, hard to clean once they degrade, and don’t live up to the nonstick promise. Worse, I’m now concerned about possible health risks from deteriorating coating. Look elsewhere.

Pans stain

I bought these pans 2 months ago because they were ptfe free but they stain when you use any tomato based product. I make spaghetti often so this is a pain. When I looked on the website on how to remove stains, they directed you to use vinegar it does not work. Soaking does not remove stains either. I had to use baking soda which removed most of the stains but now the pans have a pink hue on the inside and barely any nonstick, terrible. Shouldn't have to choose between stain free pans or nonstick.

We are very sorry to hear about the issues with your cookware. This issue can be easily resolved! It is likely that you have a layer of carbonized oil built up on your pan that will create a barrier between the pan and your food. When this happens, you are basically cooking on the layer of oil as opposed to the surface of the pan. This layer may not be visible. This cleaning method has proven to be extremely successful and can be used when you notice staining and/or sticking. For the best results, please try this method twice. Once complete, you may resume normal washing with soap and sponge. Fill the pan halfway with water and bring it to a near boil for about 2 minutes. Pour out the water and place the pan on a sturdy surface such as a wooden cutting board. Carefully use a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser on the warm surface; this should do the trick. If this does not work, please email GreenPan directly at customercare.us@greenpan.com. They are happy to help!

These pans are garbage and are as far from Non-stick as you can get. I have been a cook for 30 years and these may be the worst non-stick pans I have ever used. Even adding a little bit of oil doesn't help. The only way I can get these pans to not have food stick to them is to cook at no higher than medium low. Not even medium mind you. The pots are great for boiling water or heating up soup or beans, but that is about it.

If I could give this a negative 10 stars I would. Worst pans I’ve ever used in my life. They stick to everything and scratch if you look at them wrong. Last time I used them i thought about chucking them out my back door. I wish I could return them. Don’t buy, save yourself the anger management issues.

Not for gas ranges. GreenPan says to match the pan size with the gas hob but that isn’t sufficient guidance. Your handles burn on the mid to small sized pans unless you plan to simmer at low heat, everything. Poor design and should not be sold for gas ranges. Caraway will be our next investment as the mid and small sized pots haven’t lasted.
