Q: is this recommended for the fall/winter seasons? or summer too? I live Chicago, so we have true heat & true freezing temps in the winter.

A: I only use the fleece sleep sacks in the winter (we live in Michigan so it gets very cold here too). In summer I stick with the cotton ones

A: Thank you for your question! Since your baby is in between sizes, you can determine if a higher size is appropriate by making sure that the larger size does not have any excess material that may bunch up around the baby’s nose or mouth to avoid excess material bunching up around the face.

A: HALO here. Both the baby’s weight and height should be factored in when selecting the proper size. If the child is not a perfect fit for the sizing chart we generally recommend primarily selecting by weight - though a long, lower weight infant may need to be sized by length.

A: Hi there, Halo here. Newborn and Small are different sizes. However on this particular item, the sizes range from Small (0-6m), Medium (6-12m) and Large (12-18m). Where you see any newborn size references that would be a smaller version that would fit babies up-to-3 months.

This is the 2nd micro-fleece style I’ve bought from Halo. It’s our favorite! It’s lightweight and keeps my son warm, but he’s never overheated. The previous one we had held up well through 6 months of washing (it was just time for a new size) and expecting this one to do the same.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We really love this sleep sack! Keeps our baby warm and cozy, even though our house tends to stay pretty cold. I also love that there’s so much room for his legs because he loves to move his legs around a lot. Our baby is about 4 weeks and still has plenty of room in the 0-6 month sleep sack to grow before we need to upgrade to the next size up. We’ve purchased some sleep sacks off of Amazon that were a different brand, but we use those as back ups because the Halo is our favorite. The zippers don’t do that annoying curvy thing where they don’t lay flat like the other (cheaper) sleep sacks we’ve purchased. I really recommend getting at least one of these sleep sacks if it is in your budget! They’re absolutely worth the money.
