This is the first day to use. Very easy, fast clean up is easy.

This kettle is awesome!!! Best one we have ever had! Be careful where you direct the spout though because it puts out a lot of steam and I've had to wipe it off of my cabinets a few times. Highly recommend this one!!!

It’s loud asf while heating. A stove top kettle has a softer whistle than the boiling sound this has as its beginning the heating process. I use it for tea so I keep a thermometer handy to gauge when it’s ready for my specific teas Stays hot for a long time. Not hand wash friendly, You’ll need a bottle brush or something similar. I should say, I rent and keep this in my room so I can brew and have tea anytime as to not disturb others after my late late nights at work.

No more microwaves or waiting for water to boil on the stove! This kettle can heat up to 7 cups of water. It’s easy to hold and pour. It also shuts off automatically. It’s very easy to clean and has a push button lid. Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth and make sure to empty it after each use and it will keep scale from building up.

Perfect for tea, instant coffee, bouillon, cocoa, instant oatmeal, or whatever hot beverage makes your eyes light up. The color is so flashy and makes such an accent in my kitchen!. My only critique is that it had a weird plasticky smell when I first opened it, but that seemed to go away after the first use, and I tossed the first kettle full.

I got what I wanted making hot tea, instant oatmeal, hot chocolate for my son. One of the best kettle that we ever had. I’m satisfied with this product works perfectly and I like the color as well! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We use the electric kettle for daily tea. I like that this kettle is shorter than my previous one and holds just a bit more water. For my older kids it's simple to use. You fill it up with water, press the lever up NOT down, and wait. It's quiet until the water boils; that process is fairly loud. I don't like that it doesn't alert you when it's done or at least I didn't notice it. I don't like that you cannot select the water temperature. I like that option for various types of teas. This kettle gets very hot. I do like that the water stays warm for some time afterwards; last I had checked was 2 hours after I ran it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Hamilton Beach 1.7L Electric Kettle heats quickly, takes less time than using my microwave to boil water. It doesn’t take up too much space on the counter, but I wish it had a bit slimmer profile. I like the finish on it and red color looks nice in the kitchen. I appreciate the auto shutoff so it wont boil dry. The mesh filter is a bonus, I removed it and it was a little tricky to get it back in place, but I appreciate having it to keep the water clear. Do not like that it only shows metric measurements, , especially where it has the markings on both sides. Cups or ounces would be nice on one side. The push button lid makes it easy to open and close the top and the handle is comfortable to safely pour hot water into any mug or cup. I started out using it to just boil water for tea, and now I use find it useful when cooking to prepare a range of items more quickly like starting the water for pasta, boiling vegetables etc. The Hamilton Beach 1.7L Electric Kettle is a versatile product and I would recommend it.

Super quick, and no hot burner! Plus, it’s a beautiful color.
