Description
With the Hamilton Beach® Family-Size Deep Fryer, you can fry large quantities of restaurant-quality food in minutes. It's easy to use, even if you've never attempted to deep-fry food before. Simply fill the removable oil pot to at least the "MIN" level and turn the temperature dial to your preferred frying temperature. When the green ready light comes on, the oil is preheated, and you're ready to fry. Then fill the frying basket with food without overcrowding it, lower the basket into the oil and top with the lid. When frying is done, remove the lid and hook frying basket over the oil pot to drain away excess oil. For easy cleaning, the removable oil pot, frying basket and lid are all dishwasher safe.

Worked a couple times then quit
When this did work, I felt like it didn't get my chicken wings crispy enough. It's smaller than expected; good for low counter space I guess. I've only used it at most 4 times. It heated up this last time then went out. I've tried pushing the reset button, everything mentioned in manual. I think other customers complained about this. Should've listened to them. Will update if it works.

Not Dishwasher Safe!
Easy to use. However, the description on Target and their Website said it's all dishwasher safe. Well, the oil basket ended up with a chalk-like substance, the black wore off. So I purchased a new oil basket and the same thing happened. So then I contacted Hamilton Beach and they won't send me a new one since I "didn't follow the care instructions." Even though it says dishwasher safe! I'm an not happy about this

Piece of crap. Would turn on for 1 minute then shut off. I had to keep pushing the reset button to get it to turn back on but would immediately shut off after 1 minute. Immediately retuned as a defective item. Would not recommend.

Handle with care when washing.
This deep fryer works very well if you wash it correctly. The part that heats the oil up is the part you have to be careful with when washing. You can’t soak it. You have to carefully wash that part. Everything else you can wash normally. Also clean the filter out often. It will last for 3/4 years. I’m actually about to buy another one. Certain food just need to be fried in peanut oil. 😬

Hamilton beach Deep Fryer
I use it one time. I clean it and was not able to turn it on the second day. If you clean it make sure just to use a wet towel not a lot of water. The good thing is they send me a replacement.
