With the convenient drain, it's easy to push excess grease into the removable drip tray that slides out for easy grease disposal or recycling. The drip tray is top-rack dishwasher safe and the removable cooktop easily wipes clean. The cord wrap keeps excess cord off the countertop and reduces clutter. The grill is backed by a 3 year limited warranty.

    Cast Iron is The Best

    You can't beak cast iron as a cooking surface. No coating chipping off and it really holds its temperature steady. Cooking at 450 degrees is great for searing the meat, makes for a great taste Yeah, the griddle is a bit heavy but that screams quality cooking experience. I am done with coated-surface griddles. I would rather eat only what I cook without any specs of the surface in my food.

    Love it!

    I have been using cast iron for over 10 years now. This griddle is amazing. nice even heat, easy to clean, and if properly cared for nonstick! I have wanted to switch out my conventional nonstick griddle for years, but hesitated because this is a smaller griddle. I wish I would have bought it sooner. I make crepes and I love the handles on the side so I can pick it up (with my double oven mitt) and thin out the pancake. I will say it helps to use a silicone spatula.

    Better Than Expected

    Love this griddle! High-quality. Well-made. The cast-iron was vacuumed-sealed. Just follow the instructions to season it for the first time. The more I used it, the more non-stick it became. It’s awesome now! This one is truly a win-win. Should’ve bought it sooner!

    Cast iron goodness

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cast iron electric grill is perfect for nights that I want to make a good, quick and easy hamburger or grilled cheese sandwich. The cast iron griddle is super heavy but also super durable. I do find the heating is a tad uneven but it still cooks well if I don’t load the grill completely. Heating takes a little longer if you’ve never used cast iron before but it does make a difference in the way it cooks. Don’t use soap when cleaning, just some water to clean it and you’re good to go. I keep my grill seasoned and ready to go for the next time! A great electric grill to have in the kitchen!

    Hamilton Beach professional cast iron griddle, My first time using this was making pancakes, and my first time using a cast iron griddle. I loved the natural stick-free, PFAS free cooking experience. The pancakes cooked evenly and fluffy. The cook surface is a little smaller than my other griddle (thus the 4-stars), but it’s worth it for the PFAS free cooking experience surface.

    I followed the instructions exactly but pancakes and eggs stuck horribly. But the grill heats well; I just defnitely wouldn't use the word 'nonstick' to describe it.

    Cast iron electric griddle best ever

    This product is fantastic. Cooking on cast iron reminds me of watching my grandmother cook when i was a child on her cast iron skillets. Nothing better than cast iron for a great meal!

    Amazing Griddle

    We have been using this griddle for over a year and it is truly amazing. Works really, really well with even heat for crepes and pancakes. Also great for steaks, pork chops and bacon. Very versitile, thoughtful design with useful drain hole - easy to to clean. Getting one for my sister now.
