A: Most of our products with a non-stick coating are made with either PTFE only coating or PTFE + Silicone coating. A select few of our products have a ceramic, enamel or aluminum non-stick coating and therefore do not contain PTFE; an example would be the non-stick baking/crumb/drip tray of some of our toaster oven air fryers. All of our products are classified as food safe by the FDA. Teflon is just the original name brand of the PTFE non-stick coating, kind of like "scotch" tape, or "band-aid" bandages. PFOAs were banned by the FDA in 2013 and therefore, none of our products contain PFOAs. PTFE only becomes unhealthy when heated to 600 degrees Fahrenheit. Only our pizza oven, which does not contain these materials, reaches these high temperatures.

Very disappointed. After 6 months of use, my griddle started showing use as if I had it 6 years! The heating element was visible on top of the griddle. It was too late to return it. Wow, I have other Chatman appliances so I expected more.

Having a griddle makes life easier!

Arrived on my birthday! Great griddle.

So far we love our new Chefman Electric Griddle.
We make our own version of pancakes which are made with organic multigrains, blue, black and raspberries, spices, seeds, etc Every Morning. So far we love this griddle and hope it will continue to make our favorite Breakfast.
