I have made everything from cakes to breads and just whipping my mashed potatoes in this. It mixes everything with such ease. It comes with all the attachments needed for whatever your mixing pleasure may be. It can easily fit in your counter without taking up to much space or can be stored in a cabinet due to its size. This is a great stand mixer and I definitely recommend it!

Haven't used a stand mixer before so I have to work on getting efficient with it. As of now, I am pretty happy with it. It is pretty straightforward to use and should save time in the future. It has a big bowl so you can make a pretty big batch and just use the bowl to do everything in. It comes with 3 attachments that you can plug in and out pretty easily. There are diagrams and speed settings on the mixer that indicate which attachment to use for which type of recipe and at what setting. There's a button to open up the mixer and remove the bowl. The bowl is twisted into position and sits securely in the mixer. A big knob with diagrams lets you change smoothly between different speed settings. My only criticism at the moment is that I wish the power cord was a little longer and it would be nice if they included a strap or attachment to wrap up the cord when the mixer is not in use.

I use the dough hook for my sourdough bread and the flat beater for cakes, cookies and potatoes. The whisk is great for egg whites. The stainless steel bowl is 3.5 Qt. The mixer head lifts up easily with the head lift button. The speed control knob is easy to use. I enjoy using this stand mixer. It is easy to clean and great quality.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great stand mixer! I have not used the dough hook, but I have used the paddle and whisk attachment and both worked great. It was really easy to move the top of the mixer up and down with the button. The only complaints I have is that it can be difficult to get the mixer attachments off and I have sometimes splattered batter when doing it. Also, it can be difficult to know what number I have it set to since they are in the back. I also like that there are suction cups in the bottom. In my old stand mixer it would sometimes move when making bread but I don't think that will be a problem with this mixer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Hamilton Beach Stand Mixer with 6 speeds works pretty well. For the most part, I am very happy with it. I discovered multiple good points about the mixer. It has a sleek look of black and silver which is nice and would look good in most kitchens. Carrying the mixer has been simple since it is not too heavy or bulky. There are suction cups on the bottom of the mixer that work very well at holding the mixer in place on the counter. The cord is a decent length which is great because it seems so many products nowadays have such a short cord. It comes with 3 different attachments; a whisk, flat beater and a dough hook which pretty much covers anything I make using my mixer. The bowl is a nice size at 3.5 Qt which works perfect for me. The mixer is very user friendly, and extremely easy to figure out how to use it. I appreciate the graphic on the stand showing the attachments, speed settings and picture examples for each, it helps to take the guesswork from trying to decide. To lift the arm up for inserting and removing the attachments and bowl is quickly done by pushing the black button near the speed control. It firmly stays in place while raised until you push the button to lower the arm back down. The speed levels are a good range, and the higher speeds seem powerful enough to mix most things I would make. The fold feature is also a nice option for speed and has been handy. I also appreciate the fact that the bowl and 3 attachments are dishwasher safe (although top rack only especially for the bowl is a bit awkward) and the base is simple to wipe down. A few of things that I don't care for are the fact that the flat beater is plastic, and the whisk seems flimsy, and I wonder how durable they will be over time. The other thing I have found is that if there is not much in the bowl to mix, the attachments do not really get to the bottom or the sides too well and does not seem to mix thoroughly at that point. Overall, I am happy with the mixer, and it is now part of my routinely used kitchen appliances.

The plastic exterior of this mixer is very durable, and it can be easily stored in a kitchen cabinet due to its compact size. The mixer’s bottom has four suction cup feet, which adhere to a counter surface to prevent slipping and sliding while in use. Simply push the attachment on the shaft to install it and pull it down to remove it. Attachments included are a wire whisk, plastic paddle, and dough hook. The mixing bowl simply inserts into the base of the mixer. It is simple to use the tilt-head, just push the button and lift the tilt-head up until the tilt-head is in the proper position. Push the button again to lower the tilt-head. On the bottom of the mixer there is a cord wrap for easier storage. On the mixer, there is a six-speed diagram with attachments that helps you determine which speed to use when baking. The user manual provides clear and concise directions on how to use the appliance with a few recipes included. The dough hook worked great in mixing the dough for dinner rolls and while the mixer was operating it didn’t move due to the suction cup feet. The paddle mixed the cookie dough nicely. It was easy to clean the bowl and attachments. I would recommend this product.

It mixed ok and the speed differences were useful, however the mixer paddle kept missing the same parts of the batter so it wasn’t thoroughly mixed. It would be better to have a reverse on the machine to thoroughly mix all of the batter. Overall, good stand mixer and easy for all to use especially teens.

The unit also has a "Fold" setting for lightly folding in ingredients. It's power cord is 3 inches in length. The unit itself is about 8.5 inches wide, 12 inches tall and 13 inches deep. It has four suction cups on the base to help hold the unit in place while running. The bowl itself locks into place while the attachments themselves circle the bowl to mix. The unit mixed extremely well, blending all ingredients perfectly. While running the unit remained in place, thanks to the suction cups, while running all six speeds. The batter I made on the initial outing came out superbly. The unit was a little loud but that is to be expected with stand mixers. Clean up was incredibly easy and storage in our cabinet was perfect with the slim, compact design. It may be small but it sure is mighty. Easily a 10/10 in our book. Looking forward to putting it through our weekly paces!

I love the suction on the bottom that holds it in place. The flip up top made it easy to add ingredients. It was easy to clean up. The instructions on the side let you know which attachment to use and how how high the speed should be.

It took a lttle bit of time to position the bowl so that it was firm on the mixer. Being able to adjust beater speed was great, with guidelines to using the appropriate speed. I love the mixer's small footprint, as compared to other brands. The mixer is easy to pick up and move around, works well on a countertop, table, etc. I am looking forward to using the stand mixer for many things, instead of a hand mixer or large spoons.

You don’t have to scrape the sides of the bowl, another plus. I really like this stand mixer and find it much better than the bigger brands. I would certainly recommend it. The suction cups are a really nice feature to have when mixing in high settings, it keeps the stand mixer stable at all times. The tilt button is easy just push , it does it automatically. Too attached the bowl in an out of the mixer is super simple . The mixing attachments are a nice quality and they fit perfectly with no problems trying to get them on . It comes with a nice size splatter top very slender and practical , that helps keep all dry ingredients inside the bowl when mixing avoiding making a mess in your counter . There only thing the I will modify would be making a little rubber accordion on the part that the mixer tilts , just to protect the machine of getting some liquid in it and damage the motor of the mixer,. Other than that, this is a very strong powerful Stand Mixer to have and used on all your baking and cooking needs, not to forget Very Affordable.
