Description

With our new Black Cask Bourbon, we set out to combine the full body and intense aromas of black tea with the rich flavors of finely aged bourbon. The result is simple and stunning: prominent bourbon notes of vanilla and caramel and smoky oak-cask layered atop a smoky base of black tea. Perfect for sipping slow and steady, as a bourbon should be. Ingredients: Black tea, lapsang souchong, bourbon flavor. Contains natural flavors. Brewing instructions: use one sachet for two cups of tea. Pour boiling water (212F) over the sachet. Infuse for 5 minutes. Remove the sachet.

    Please ditch plastic tea bags!

    I am sad to give this product 1 star and I really hope the company will see this review and hopefully taking the time to write this will be worthwhile. I love this tea, the aroma, the packaging - the tin is so beautiful! But, we live in times where pretty tins are not enough, we need more than ever products and brands that protect consumer health. Look it up, we have studies proving that a single plastic tea bag can release billions of micro plastics in a single cup of tea made with water that's above 95 deg c. Obvs everyone makes tea with boiling hot water. There are other brands that are committing to plastic free tea bags, your brand needs to do the same! I want your pretty tins, I want the lovely flavors of tea, I WANT to enjoy your teas, just please put them in safe tea bags!!!! Nothing else matters.

    Absolutdly divine

    After IKEA discontinued their tea. I was devasted as I had not had. favorite tea since Teavana and Starbucks trashed Peach Tranquilty and Youthberry. I searched for anyone's recommendation as a dupe and discovered Harney and Sons, which I always have in stock. It's so delicious. I cant pick out cherry or vanilla its blended so well together. I am also not a big fan of vanilla flavors. but this one is perfection. I steep for 5 minutes, 2 bags with 16 ozs boiling water. add about a tbsp of lemon juice, freshly squeezed and about 1 tbsp honey. I have steeped it 10 minutes and longer, not intentionally, but it didn't change the flavor profile. I love the tins these come in, but I have so many I am currently trying to find a way to repurpose these. One idea I love is using to wrap gifts!

    Vanilla Comoro -- a staple!

    I buy a lot of high quality teas (ones rated for less plastic in tea bags, organic, etc). But this simple tea is the one everyone in my family reaches for day after day. It is balanced and doesn't seem to get bitter even when over steeped. I'm knocking off a star because the way they attach the end of the tea bag means holes get ripped in 20% of the bags and that is annoying. It is affordable enough I deal with it, but I hate wasting food of any kind.

    Not good at all

    I wanted to try something new. However this tea has a strong smoky, chemical flavor no hint of caramel or bourbon at all. I couldn't get passed the smoky aroma. I took 1 sip and immediately regretted it. taste just like it smells smoky 🚬 .

    tea tin mixup?

    I did not buy Black Cask Bourbon, but Hot Cinnamon Sunset. It was not the Hot Cinnamon Sunset I have purchased before. I am wondering if the Black Cask Bourbon sachets were put in the wrong tin. if, so, i will never purchase the black cask bourbon. it is absolutely aweful!!!!!

    It's Bourbon...well Bourbon Tea
