DO NOT RECOMMEND. My husband bought this, used it once to shave his neck and it cut him all up, he was bleeding a bunch. This never happens with his Gillette. Tried to return but couldn’t since it had been used. Waste of money.

I’ll Be Switching
I bought this for my dad and he's been using Gillette for years. Like with everything else going up and up up and up in price Gillette is astronomical in blade replacements. If you do a comparison of Harry's eight blades to Gillette, there's about a $25 difference. My dad has used the three blade for years, disposable, Gillette. He switched to Harry's five blade and there's no looking back for him. He's sticking with Harry's. Once my Gillette blades have been used up, I will be switching to Harry's too.

Best Razor Ever
I’ve tried many razors and Harry’s has the best one hands down. I purchased this set along with their shaving cream and after shave balm & when I tell you! Not one bump, itchy moment and my face is extremely smooth! I absolutely love this product. 5/5 stars!

Its okay.
The shaving blades are great but the handle could be better quality. I always feel unsafe holding it in the shower because I feel like it’s going to slip out of my fingers and I will cut my self. The handle is to light and slippery. Maybe more grips would make this handle more sturdy.

Excellent shave - long time user of Harry's, upgraded from original Truman
I have been using my first Harry's razor handle, otherwise known as the Truman (plastic handle), for the better part of 8 years. I've been enjoying the quality of Harry's blades, and the razor handle has seen it's better days. I misplaced it and took the opportunity to upgrade -- and I've been delighted from the first shave. The added weight helps one balance each blade stroke, and the promise of a well-balanced handle I can attest to: my first shave with it was probably the best shave I've ever had. With my first use, I noticed I had gotten used to compensating for weight over my time with the plastic handle. I'd say the weight also instills more confidence with each stroke. On top of this, the included blades are still the same high quality blades I've come to enjoy. If you've never tried Harry's, they offer a trial/money-back guarantee in the case you're leary. If it's any testament to their longevity, I have had their subscription service and I find myself pausing shipments because the blades last so long, while not costing as much as the competition. It is convenient that there are brick and mortar solutions like Target if you find yourself without, though, as I have.

Good, but grip isnt so good
The razor itself works very good but the handle isn’t the best. It has a bunch of small dotted rubber grips but it doesn’t really help grip wise, since the handle is metal it’s very slippery when it gets wet at all. I recommend purchasing a different handle if you can, but I’m stuck with this one.

Dont buy this!
I had bought this razor in hopes that I wouldn’t have to buy anymore disposable ones and it helped that it was cheaper than the women’s ones as well. However when I first used this I gashed my leg pretty good and I haven’t nicked myself in YEARS with other razors. And on top of that the blades rusted after 3 days! the blade quality is incredibly bad. Only upside is the classy look of the handle

No Bueño
Horrible, this razor cut my face like no other. I used to have Harry’s when they were first introduced and loved them and just switched to try others out. After years of using other brands I thought I’d try and go back. The quality has definitely fallen! I would personally avoid unless you have a tough face.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Now this Harry razor is exactly what I needed for a nice clean shave that doesn't cause any pull or tugging on my hairs and doesn't give me razor burn or a rash . It glides along my skin nicely and gets me the closest shave I have ever had. The handle is nice and comfy and I like that it has a little weight to it . The razor head pivots around my neck area with ease . Having the case it came in let's me travel with it .

This razor is excellent and cuts super close. Sometimes cheap razors you will have to run over a spot several times to get it taken care of. This razor cuts close and clean and works efficiently.

The head is extremely flexible, and moves smoothly with the contour of my face and neck. The blade cartridge is easy to remove by simply pressing the light gray part of the handle upward. Highly recommended to everyone!
