I had hopes for this product as it is cute and my 6 year old daughter loves unicorns. Sadly, she got bored very quickly with this after only a few minutes and it has been set aside since. The mix and match accessories are a positive appeal to the toy as you can swap them with another character of the same product. However, we didn’t find the interaction between 2 Nano-mals to be very impressive. Overalll there’s not enough to capture a lasting attention of a 6 year old and it has just become another toy in the toy box.

You can choose from several different ones or collect them all. You get the Nana-mals and an outfit with each one. And they interact with each other. Sure the video manual is online and shows all sorts of features, kids will just play around with the toy. Filling the heart (3 levels) is very easy with just moving the toy around. Ears, nose, and hands initiate the movement too. It's meant to be clipped onto a backpack which spurs the movement. Another cool feature is if 2 of them is facing each other they 'interact' with one another making lights and sounds. Overall fun factor is very short and is just needed for quick playtime.

The compact size makes it perfect for her backpack and it’s surprisingly durable for all the dramatic unicorn adventures she dreams up. Stardream’s pastel colors are even quieter than Meadowmist, but she loves the soft sparkles, and it shows up beautifully in her little gallery of desk buddies. Our only tiny gripe is how teensy she is—makes it a bit easy to misplace—but overall, she’s become a beloved little sidekick for imaginative play.

It also lights up different colors. My 3 year old is staying busy playing with it. I think it's very interesting to little ones. Not to mention it's really cute also. You can interact with them in a variety of ways. You can pet them, feed them, shake them, move them around, and they will respond with a variety of sounds and music. They even interact with other nano-mals. They also come with a cute outfit accessory. They are super-affordable and would make a great gift.
