Cowbert is cute right out of the box and the little tuxedo outfit is a fun touch. The noises, lights, and reactions kept my kid’s attention at first, but honestly, it got repetitive pretty quick. The “heart meter” idea is neat in theory, but the constant color changes and sounds feel more like a distraction than actual interactive play. It’s one of those toys that’s fun for the first few days, then ends up sitting on a shelf. On the plus side, it’s small and portable with the keychain clip, so it’s easy to toss on a backpack. But for the price, I’d expect a little more variety or staying power. Kids who love fidget-style toys might like it more, but it wasn’t a huge hit in our house.

The little lights, sounds, and heart meter kept my kid entertained for a bit, and I like that it’s small enough to clip on a backpack. The outfit and snap-on vest add a fun touch. That said, it gets repetitive really fast. The “70+ responses” sound good on paper, but in reality it feels like the same few reactions on repeat. After the first day, the novelty wore off and Blubby mostly sat in the toy bin. The sound effects can get a little annoying, and even though there’s a silent mode, it’s not super intuitive to use. Overall, it’s a decent fidget-style toy for a short burst of play, but don’t expect it to be a long-term favorite. Good for gifting if you want something small and flashy, but not something I’d buy again at full price.

My girls wouldn't put them down and even slept with them. Being able to play with them and feed them created an instant bond between the girls and the toy. This product is perfect for long car ride or trips to help keep your children focused on something other than ..Are we there yet!!! Nano Mal's are a hands on play that your children will love

This toy offers hours of play time for the girls and keeps them interacting with them daily. They recently took a long plane ride and the Nano Mal's kept them busy the entire flight. I love that it has a key chain on it so they can clip it to their bag when on the go. This toy is great for boys or girls. The look on their face when the first got this toy was amazing!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a cute little toy that is very simple for the little ones. It's almost too simple in my opinion. Growing up with tamogatchis, those were almost too complicated, needing to be fed and cared for constantly. If these could be a little more like that, not quite as complicated but just a little more, I think my kids would've been interested longer. They lost interest with these pretty quickly.
