Hatchimals Alive Family Carton

Bought these for our charity (christmasgivingtree dot com) to hand out to kiddos and we love it. They are super adorable and I would definitely recommend them for your littles. Will make a great gift.

This was so fun to see hatching , was a big hit during Easter. The only thing down part is that is a waste on the rest of the egg .

Have found hatchimals for my young girls. They love cracking the eggs. The old style is obviously out, these "alive" versions are current. Although you can buy them individually for $5, a cartons of 5 for sale price $13 is a better deal. Bought 4 cartons. Only to find out, they are all exactly the same. What happened to the variety?! Not knowing what would be in your eggs. I'd be okay woth even a few repeats when it's random, but knowing it's the exact ones with the exact same accessories takes away everything about this. Disappointing to say the least.

I bought this toy because this is so cute 🥰 but today the fifth instrument and the penguin's pacifier is missing. This toy was scattered all around by my little brother. This toy is also a WASTE OF MONEY!!! Look at these egg pieces all around the floor. This toy is not so good.

Daughter had a blast opening these up and playing with. Put a huge smile on her face.

We love the new design and "magic" way the pop out of the eggs. Clever design and fun. The reason for the 3 stars is cartons are getting less and less eggs to open and more "accessories" also cartons are now all the same. There is no real surprise or mystery to what is inside. I'd happily pay a little more for cartons with new and classic egg opening designs if there's more mystery to the eggs and the cartons actually have 11(one space for accessories) or 12 eggs.

So while the idea is neat she said that its not that fun and as interactive after the face.

My child really enjoyed opening the eggs and it was fun to watch them crack and to see what was inside. It is something that once th the excitement of the hatching is done it gets played with for awhile but as a parent I didn't like th very small game pieces

It kept them occupied and they loved finding out which character they ended up getting. Although this is generally marketed for girls, I think it could work for any gender. My sons certainly loved it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My children received the Hatchimals Alive, Egg Carton Toy with 5 Mini Figures in Self-Hatching Eggs to product test. While the idea was great, my children so excited to open a new toy completely destroyed the eggs before I could assist with the special hatching mechanism The instructions were on a grey piece of paper that sort of got lost in the opening. A colored illustration would have caught the kids attention better. Despite the excitement that might have occured with the original hatching, my girls love the little hatchimals. Unfortunately they also wanted the Hatchimal house (not included) and we struggled to find it in store to see what it would look like before buying. The girls like that they have little instruments with the characters, that they are beautiful and the fact they can be stored in their little carton. I appreciate the detail in the characters and the fact the kids get 5 characters to play with (sharing is fun with enough characters!). Overall a successful product!

They enjoyed watching the hatching process to see what was revealed. They loved the characters and accessories that it came with! Many opportunities for imagination and pretend play with this set!!

My daughter was so excited she didn't want to wait for me but she did and how excited she was! She played with them right up to dinner time and immediately when she woke the next day.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Neither of my kids had experienced a Hatchimal before trying out the Hatchimals Alive Egg Carton Toy. The egg carton contained five eggs, and the egg carton doubles as a stage for the mini figures after hatching. My six year old son and three year old daughter shared the experience of hatching the animals together, taking turns. There are two methods of hatching the eggs, either feeding it with the bottle or dipping it in a cup of water, so we did two eggs each with the bottle method and one attempt with the dipping method. The bottle method was definitely preferred by both kids, so I'd recommend just sticking with that method. The dipping method hatched the eggs extremely quickly. My 6 year old had no issues with loading the baby bottle with water and "feeding" the egg. My three year old needed assistance loading the bottle but absolutely loved "feeding" the egg. My son was disappointed that the eggs themselves would need to be disposed of after opening. That is a downside to this product and the reason I dropped one star from the review. However, that was quickly forgotten and both kids returned to playing with the mini figures. It's been about a week since we've hatched the animals, and my daughter especially keeps returning to these mini figures to play with them. She loves to put what she calls "her babies" back to sleep in their egg carton. It's super sweet to watch her play with them. I think there will be more Hatchimals mini figures gifted to them in the future.

It kept her preoccupied for an hour and she talked for hours about it showing it to her dad when she got home. She received about 5 surprises and accessories and she enjoyed hatching them and creating a display in the carton. She played with it even the next day! Great toy and bang for parent buck!
