It’s a fast-acting professional-strength blend of pure tea tree oil, myrrh, comfrey, goldenseal, aloe vera, jojoba oil, 1% hydrocortisone. Healers Hot Spot Relief aids in the treatment of acral lick granulomas, hot spots, and insect bites, abrasions, foot sores and numerous other topical dermatological conditions that may have a bacterial, fungal or inflammatory basis. Healers Hot Spot Relief is formulated with 1% hydrocortisone, a topical steroid, which can help reduce inflammation and irritation. Our petroleum free product has a great advantage over most other healing aids that use tar or oil bases that can actually hinder the healing process or may retard normal epithelialization, or skin closure. A: Yes this was designed by a veterinarian for his practice. it is perfectly safe. Keep in mind it absorbs very quickly so the pet wont have a chance to lick off. Try it on yourself and see how quickly it absorbs in your own skin. I use it all the time for my own bites and to control any itching I may have. Terri

Our dog had super dry skin this winter so we tried this out. While it has a strong smell (tea tree oil), it works great. Whenever I take it out, my dog runs to me to put it on. That must mean she likes it too!
