Q: How can you secure this to a dorm bed so the entire thing can’t be stolen?
A: Hi A! The Heavy Duty Footlocker is a great storage option to secure your belongings. It features a key-hole option allowing the addition for a padlock. We would not recommend screwing or drilling this item in place as it may cause damage to the unit and affect its functionality.

Q: Is this stackable? I.e. can I buy 2 and stack on top of each other?

Q: Will the latches rust if stored outdoors, under a camper?
A: Hi K! The Footlocker is made of Polypropylene plastic and was designed for general household use is not waterproof and does not contain UV protection. Rain, snow, and other weather can penetrate the cracks of the item. If using it outdoors, we suggest you cover it with a waterproof tarp, store it under a roof, or inside a garage, shed or other building to help prevent drying out from sun exposure, and to keep moisture from penetrating the unit.
