Hefty Extra Deep Square Disposable Plates 8.5" - 40ct

Nothing leaked and they kept their shape but I did feel like I needed two hands to ensure my food wouldn’t fall off once the plate was loaded up. I’d say for a picnic or barbecue they’re a good choice, but be prepared to use two hands if items are on the heavier side. I also like that they’re compostable.

The extra depth makes a huge difference — no more sauce spills or food sliding off the edge. They’re strong, durable, and held up nicely even with heavy portions. I used it for breakfast and then for my snack plate and it went around the house with me with no issues. My warm toast did not hurt the integrity of the plate. It's a great deal. It's not super thick yet it's super hefty!

The design is less sturdy than I prefer but considering that it is biodegradable it’s worth the sacrifice for sturdier options. I love that each plate has the eco friendly label . The sizing is perfect and fits food efficiently without getting too heavy and bending, very durable, which surprised me because they are a bit thinner than I'd like. Maybe just be careful with a steak and potato. Overall, i like them, and they are eco-friendly with is a plus in my book.

In fact, I tested it with half of an oversized breakfast burrito, and it only took up a small portion of the plate—leaving plenty of room for additional items. While they performed well overall, the plates felt slightly flimsy, and I wouldn’t feel confident holding one with one hand when it’s loaded with food.
