Q: Does Hellman's mayo still contain Bioengineered ingredients? It was a family staple but I no longer buy it because I've seen it on the labels. Not sure how old this photo is on the website.

In North America, nearly all soybean & canola crops are bioengineered (GMO). We do offer an organic non-GMO option.     Seed oils though

    So I got the one that’s pictured on the right, in the tub/jar. Anyhow, it is classic Hellman’s mayonnaise. The only issue is that I really wish they would take out soybean oil. It’s so bad, especially as the first ingredient.

    Hellmann's by Choice Always

    Through the years and multiple generations of my family we have used Hellmann's (fka Best Foods) Real Mayonnaise. Yes, we have tried other brands generally while trying to cut cost but it came at a cost with flavor. Never again and why I am appreciative for savings offers through the Unilever rebate program and in-store savings on occasion. You have a loyal consumer.

    Quality is Slacking

    I have been a die hard fan Hellman's for decades and even though they are charging more and getting less I still bought it. I will even eat spoonfull's out of the jar while preparing a dish. However, very recently my husband and I have observed that it has become quite a bit thinner and this observation has not been over 1 purchase but, several. Please go back to your original recipe and ingredients. I don't want to have to make a change to a competitor.

    Includes SOY in all their products now

    I went to the store to buy your Canola Oil mayonnaise and there wasn’t any. I checked out the avocado and olive oil ones, but they have soybean oil included in the mixture. My husband is allergic to any soy products and the Canola oil mayo was one of his safe foods that I could use. Please consider going to a non soy included recipe for your product. We used it regularly for several years and miss it.

    Classic Mayo

    The Best!

    Hellmans has been around a long time. It seems as though they changed to texture. It use to be on the lumpy side & now it's like whipped. I really like the old formula much better. But I only buy Hellman----Got to be Hellmans

    Excellent value and an unmatched creamy feel for any meal.

    This mayonnaise offers great value for money. As it goes a long way. It has a very pleasant , mild aroma and an incredible creamy mouthfeel. Furthermore , it is light and does not cause any discomfort.

    What has gone wrong with my potato salad?!?

    I have been making potato salad with Hellmann’s Real Mayonnaise for decades, but this year I thought that I was doing something wrong. The mayo, I believe, is the culprit. It is runnier or oiler and instead of being creamy my potato salad has a very different taste and texture. I have only ever used Hellmann’s but I have to find a new potato salad recipe or another mayonnaise.

    Hellman's Mayo - A Family Tradition

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My mother used this back when I was little it has been a staple in our family since probably before 1961. I have tried others (family member insisted) but NOPE I love the texture, taste, and we now use it to coat our bread when making grilled cheese

    Good but I'd opt for the light version

    A lovely mayo and a firm classic brand which is a top pick from a small quality selection that I'd eat. Not every mayo is good but I approve of this one. It has a nice and thick texture with a strong eggy flavour just like mayo should be. Great to pair with foods like chips to dip in. The only issue is the amount of fat and calories :/ haha

    I have tried this mayonnaise and it seems to me a classic and reliable option for day to day.     No other mayo like Hellmanns mayo

    Hellsmanns Real Mayonnaise is a must in our grocery list…we use it on bread, potato salad, for our tuna dip and Hellsmanns is the best choice! The original brand taste it doesnt compare to other brands out there. Price is affordable and recipe hasnt changed, so taste has been amazing years after years.
