HERDEZ Salsa Casera delivers flavor over flash with every single bite. Fresh ingredients are expertly blended to create a salsa perfect for any occasion. As one of the most popular of the HERDEZ salsas, this casera comes in mild, medium, and hot. Whether you're looking for a special dip for chips, a kitchen staple, or a shortcut into the heart and soul of real Mexican cooking, you can't get more authentic than HERDEZ salsa. It's what you can expect from the #1 salsa brand in Mexico. HERDEZ is a trademark of Herdez, S.A. de C.V. sociedad anonima.
Tried this salsa today. Was expecting something more authentic than your average store-bought salsa. What I had was probably the worst jarred salsa you could buy. Tasteless and watery. You'd be better off with a can of crushed tomato.
On a recent visit to the Yucatan, a friend of mine served this Salsa Casera with taco chips. Now I'm back in Australia and of course this product is not available in any store here. I hesitate to buy online due to extremely high shipping costs. Guess I'll just have to go back to Mexico. For those below who posted negative reviews, I'd say your comments are not based on the product but more on the Mexican culture.
