I can’t have dairy, and this is such a great option for me for a chocolate syrup. Honestly, a little goes a long way (this isn’t your usual Hershey’s syrups—the cocoa flavor and sugar are stronger because the ingredient list is so simple). Highly recommend in that regard. And my 6 y/o loves it too!

I thought I was crazy but something tastes really off with the syrup. It reminds me of a battery or something sour or acidic, I don’t know what it is but something tastes wrong like it’s spoiled

Thai product used to contain came sugar and they switched it to an invert syrup and it’s made the taste off. The invert syrup makes it no longer made of simple ingredients.

I know everyone has their own preference and opinions about taste in flavors. But for years we used Ness quick powder to make chocolate milk because the Hershey’s chocolate original had an odd flavor in my opinion. When I saw this I had to try it because I did like a non-GMO and no hi fructose corn syrup. Also far more natural. I’m hooked all the way. People have commented on being thinner. I think it’s perfectly a good consistency. Flavor, poor ability, and much healthier with less ingredients. Thank you developers of Hershey’s simply five. It’s the best yet!

This product is heading in the right direction, but It has the wrong balance between chocolate and sugar. Also, it’s a little too watery. I’d like to have an unsweetened chocolate syrup to mix with milk that I can determine how sweet I want to make it.

This product is made on the same equipment as dairy and contains dairy allergens. I consumed this product thinking there wasn’t any dairy and was very confused when I started having an allergic reaction. Took some digging online to figure this out. Disappointed they just didn’t put it on the label like some make other companies. I won’t buy it again.
