Assemble Base Halves (C) around the power cord. To secure the base halves together, slide the posts of one base half into the slots of the second base half. 2. To secure the base halves together, slide the posts of one base half into the slots of the second base half. 3. Secure power cord through the clips in the assembled base. 4. Line up the Holes (F) with the Locking Posts (G) on the bottom of the Fan Housing (B). 5. Secure by turning the base counterclockwise around the Locking Posts until an audible click is heard. this fan is amazing! it has 6 levels, the first 3 levels are very quiet, with 4 and up being audible but a nice consistent white noise. you can turn off the beeping sound and the lights turn off automatically after a minute or so, which is great if you use it in the bedroom. it also has a good oscillation speed and consistency. i was prepared to be ambivalent about this fan, based on the 1 star reviews, but idk what their problem is really— this fan is awesome for the price!

I am overall satisfied with the purchase. It’s relatively simple to install. It works great for fanning and air circulation and has a quite wide range to cover a room. The remote works as designed. I’ve only used it up to level 4 so far for temperature in the mid 80s. The noise is tolerable although it can be moody, from super quiet to suddenly rather loud. When I test the level 6, it sounds like a plane taking off! LOL.

Even on level 6, the highest setting, it barely created air flow! I was trying to cool my classroom down and it didn’t help at all. I could only feel it if I was standing within 3 feet of it. Immediately returned!

Works great with or without AC. It is only quiet on the lowest setting, which is one. Once you start to change it, it gets audibly louder. But I still like the fan, just don’t like that is it advertised as quiet when it is not (60 decibles is as loud a conversation between two people or the sound level of a restaurant).

The fan works BUT the speeds are very inconsistent. When on whatever setting its on, its makes a sound like it’s over working then will slow back down for a little while then will “rev” back up. The noise is very inconsistent and wakes me up through the night. Weird that it does this.

Oscillation is not smooth and goes off-track often. Fan speed is inconsistent when placed on any level. A d fan is actually pretty loud when in use. Not a great purchase even for the price. At least the remote works well and fan does work out of the box.

My husband purchased this for me as menopause has hit and I am forever hot. It’s been running now for a few hours and is anything but quiet. It makes a very noticeable whirring sound. Much louder than any other fan I’ve ever owned. Most concerning is its constantly ramping up and down. This is something I haven’t heard from other fans I’ve owned. Sometimes our power fluctuations cause this but those have never been consistent. I do not think they are the cause of what I hear from this unit. It makes me worry that it is unsafe. I will be returning it or exchanging it ASAP.
