The timer is an optional feature and will only shut the fan off automatically if it has been activated. Please keep in mind that, like any electrical appliance, the fan should be turned off periodically to allow the motor to rest and help prevent overheating.

    Don't waste your money

    I’ll have to say it is quiet and the remote is convenient, but it hardly cools at all. I have it on the highest speed (6) and there are times I have to see if it’s even on because the cooling and air flow is so minimal.

    would not buy again
